WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
As a Research Assistant on the Mind Science’s Perception team in our NIKE Sport Research Lab (NSRL), you will be responsible for executing research projects aimed at delivering proven performance insights that will lead to technologically innovative footwear, apparel and equipment that are globally relevant.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The candidate needs to be highly detailed and able to follow research protocols, personable and good with working with and interacting with athletes*, and clear communication skills.
Requirements for the position include:
- Bachelor’s Degree in science, psychology, behavior, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education and training.
- Strong communication and people skills
- Detail oriented and able to follow instructions
- Organized and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Experience performing research with human subjects
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You will conduct studies under the guidance of perception scientists, following prescribed procedures and methodology.
- You will become familiar with the research tools used by the Nike Sport Research Lab staff for perception research.
- You will assist in the recruitment and engagement of athletes* for studies within the NSRL
- You will help in execution of study protocols and ensure proper IRB and athlete interaction guidelines are followed
- You will help in the preparation of study products and materials for the research studies
- You may also assist in data organization and basic statistical analysis
