WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH


As a key member of the Store Standards & Process team within EMEA Nike Direct, the Retail Operations Specialist works alongside two other leads and four specialists. They will report directly to the Senior Manager of the SSP team and collaborate cross-functionally with Global and EMEA Retail Operations & Tech, Athlete Services and Training, Supply Chain, Allocation & Transportation and Field teams. The team is united by a deep understanding of Retail Store Operations and a shared passion for supporting athletes through operational excellence.


WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR


We’re looking for a Retail Operations Specialist with a strong background in Retail Store Operations to drive the implementation of standard operating processes and support technology capabilities that elevate efficiency across stockrooms and salesfloors.


The role calls for someone who is detail-focused, well organized, and agile in problem-solving. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple priorities with ease, and consistently
seek innovative ways to fuel business growth and athlete productivity.


We are also looking for someone with:

  • Experience: Relevant experience in retail stores and/or store operations or similar functions supporting store tech capabilities, product flow and store openings. Familiarity with retail systems (POS, RFID, Inventory Management) and experience enabling capability rollouts and training through cross-functional collaboration.

  • Skills: Strong analytical, organizational and project management skills, with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to facilitate meetings and present/influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Adaptability: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with evolving priorities.

  • Travel: Ability to travel to store locations as needed (up to 10%).


WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON


No two days are the same within our team and you will have exposure to learn, develop and implement a variety of programs and digital products across our Nike Direct Marketplace.

  • Implementation of Operational Processes and Capabilities: You will develop and implement operational procedures and new tech capabilities in close partnership with cross-functional teams (Supply Chain, Technology, Loss Prevention, Training, Field/Store teams). You will drive continuous improvement through quarterly PI planning, creating Operational Excellence in our Sales Floors and Stockrooms.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with key stakeholders (e.g., Supply Chain, Technology, Loss Prevention, Field and Training teams) to align retail strategies and ensure smooth execution.

  • Training & Support: Support store teams with training, tools and resources to enable operational excellence. You will drive operational processes adoption across stores, ensuring consistency across locations and territories.

  • Problem-Solving: Act as the first point of contact for escalations, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating resolutions with relevant teams.

  • Project Management: Lead or contribute to retail initiatives, operational pilots, and process improvement projects.
