In our NIKE Retail Stores, we use special job names for our positions: a Store Manager is called "Head Coach", an Assistant Store Manager is called "Assistant Head Coach", a Department Manager is called "Coach", a Team Leader is called “Lead“ and a Sales Associate is called "Athlete".

As a Back Of House Coach, you ensure smooth product flow from delivery to the sales floor and maintain high operational standards. You lead the BOH team, manage inventory accuracy, support digital order fulfillment, and partner closely with the sales floor to enhance the overall consumer and athlete experience.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Monitors the flow of all shipments and ensures prompt follow-up on any discrepancies.

• Ensures the Back of House area is clean and organized to support smooth seasonal transitions and compliance with safety standards.

• Performs box counts and validates them against bills of lading, reporting any discrepancies, shortages, or damages immediately.

• Consistently controls and ensures the PRE standard within the BOH team.

• Uses the Refill Scorecard to improve the speed and efficiency of the BOH team.

• Manages the timely implementation and closing of markdowns/promotions.

• Assists the sales floor with product placement and stock replenishment.

• Uses correct reason codes, maintains control, and completes mis-mates within P&P guidelines; follows correct transfer and RTV procedures.

• Reviews the PIV report, manages negatives, and implements the negative reduction plan.
