The annual base salary for this position ranges from $65,400.00 in our lowest geographic market to $129,500.00 in our highest geographic market. Actual salary will vary based on a candidate's location, qualifications, skills and experience.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

In this role, you will be part of the larger North America Sport Specialty Team and the Running Specialty Group. The Running Specialty Group (RSG) is a dynamic team that supports and drives the running strategy focused on Running Specialty doors. You will report into the RSG Sales Organization to a Regional Manager. You will collaborate cross functionally with partners across Sales, Brand, Marketing, Merchandising and Product. 

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The Sport Specialty Team is looking for a Sales Representative to join the RSG team! Our Primary goal is to manage relationships with key partners who authenticate our brand. You will also identify product opportunities, implement merchandising strategies; stay current on product and product changes and display strong customer service skills. An ideal candidates will be passionate about running, the sport, the culture and the people.

  • A minimum of 2 years directly relevant work experience in areas such as field sales, retail buying, merchandising, sales business planning, or sales business analysis
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
  • Experience in the Running Industry in retail or sales is strongly preferred
  • Ability to prepare, plan and deliver clear and persuasive presentations
  • Understanding of the competitive market, customer, and retail trends
  • Ability to use financial data and retail math to make decisions and maximize account profitability
  • Ability to develop seasonal assortments, forecasts, and scenario plans
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to lift and carry samples and bags weighing up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

In this role, you will be part of the dynamic RSG team that is responsible for a group of independent regional accounts across the states of MN, WI, SD, ND based in Minneapolis, MN. You will be the primary day-to-day person that is responsible for managing a group of independent Running accounts. 

  • You will support the authentication of Nike Running by aligning with established strategies and maximizing Nike product sales through the development of accurate and practical seasonal assortments, forecasts, and scenario plans.
  • Your responsibilities encompass soliciting and submitting orders, as well as ensuring efficient coordination of order tracking, retail release and launch details, order confirmations, cancellation and Return-To-Stock summaries, and the timely delivery of relevant information.
  • You will drive increased sell-in and sell-through by strategically preparing, planning, and delivering well-structured and compelling merchandising and product presentations.
  • You will enhance account relationships by collaborating cross-functionally with partners in Sales, Brand, Marketing, Merchandising, and Product to ensure inspiration and innovation are delivered to every athlete worldwide.
