The Security Manager for India & Sri Lanka, based out of Bengaluru, India, will oversee all aspects of security operations and infrastructure, including managing a physical guarding company, coordinating safety and security vendors, and leading a dedicated Security Specialist. Reporting to the Regional Director of Security for Asia, the role will also involve close partnerships with internal stakeholders such as Sports Marketing, Facilities Management, Resilience (including EHS), Investigations, Legal and VIP Protection teams.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The Security Manager must be a seasoned security professional with deep experience in corporate security and a strong, confident presence shaped by years of navigating complex challenges. This role demands a strategic thinker who can assess risks, respond decisively, and implement practical solutions in fast-paced, high-stakes environments. The ideal candidate demonstrates sound judgment, adaptability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Exceptional communication skills—both written and verbal in English—are essential, enabling the manager to engage effectively with a wide range of stakeholders, including internal teams, Nike executives, and globally recognized athletes. The candidate must be comfortable operating at all levels of the organization and managing external vendors, including physical guarding companies and safety service providers.

Collaboration, respect, and professionalism are core to Nike’s culture, and the Security Manager must embody these values while fostering trust and alignment across departments such as Sports Marketing, Facilities Management, Environment, Health & Safety (EHS), Investigations, and VIP Protection. The ability to lead with integrity, build strong relationships, and deliver results that uphold Nike’s global standards will be key to success in this role:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience is required.

  • Bachelor’s degree is a must.

  • Demonstrated expertise with IP-based physical security systems, including access controls, biometrics, alarm systems, cameras, and networks.

  • Strong analytical and decision-making skills.

  • Proven success managing security operations related to facilities, personnel, and events.

  • Experience in corporate facility security management, including the development of security and asset protection policies as well as guard force utilization, is preferred.

  • Previous leadership experience in security within a multi-location corporate environment is highly desirable.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

As Security Manager for Nike India & Sri Lanka, you will lead day-to-day security operations across multiple sites, ensuring the safety of employees, assets, and brand reputation while collaborating with global and local teams to deliver pragmatic, risk-based solutions. In this role, you will,

  • Be part of Nike’s Global Safety and Security Team, applying global standards while crafting locally relevant, practical solutions to mitigate preventable risks.

  • Build strong relationships across diverse stakeholder functions—collaboration at all levels of the organization is key to achieving success at Nike.

  • Oversee the functionality and maintenance of electronic security systems across multiple buildings.

  • Stay informed and responsive to any circumstances that may impact Nike’s security posture, including threats to employees, assets, or brand reputation.

  • Manage third-party vendors, including physical guarding companies and safety service providers, ensuring alignment with Nike’s expectations.

  • Communicate confidently and clearly in English—both written and verbal—with internal teams, senior executives, and high-profile athletes.

  • Work in a fast-paced, multi-functional environment where your experience, judgment, and ability to find practical solutions will be valued and tested daily.
