As Senior Analyst, GREATER CHINA, you will report to Tax Director, GREATER CHINA, and, based on her instructions, be accountable for the creation, optimization and protection of tax value in support of Nike GC’s finance, business and shareholder objectives.
You will be responsible for providing professional and relevant tax support to facilitate efficient and accurate tax operations (indirect tax) as well as sufficient and excellent advice to support business growth and capture tax risk & opportunities for Nike GC entities.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Tax Operation Work: Provide appropriate advice, review, guidance, best practices, and instructions to ensure E2E statutory tax (indirect tax) can be accurately and timely discharged and filed, and potential inquiries and challenges from external authorities can be appropriately dealt with.
Business Advisory & Project: Acting as business partner to local stakeholders, participate in business planning and decision-making process and provide solid tax advice and practical solutions. Assist in newly initiated and priorities tax projects to drive values and efficiency for Nike.
SELECTION CRITERIA
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or Taxation law is desired.
- CPA/CA/CTA certification is preferred.
- 5+ years' extensive experience in tax consultancy and tax management US MNCs’ experiences are preferred.
- Knowledge and experience of tax operation work, especially indirect tax accounting and compliance is a must.
- HK/TW tax regulatory experience and tax technical knowledge is a plus.
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with ability to translate business requirements into tax risks and controls.
- Experience with and ability to work collaboratively with multinational cultures and countries.
- Ability to innovate and navigate through ambiguity.
- Experience with SAP is preferred.
