They serve consumers across EMEA and beyond, ensuring products arrive at the right place and at the right time. The Customs and Trade team inspires a connected community and accelerates cross‑border trade across the region. In this role, the Senior Analyst collaborates closely with partners across Nike’s global trade network, the ELC campus, EMEA and global headquarters, and external stakeholders such as customs authorities.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Nike is seeking a Senior Analyst to strengthen the EMEA Customs and Trade team. This person streamlines processes for efficient cross‑border operations and drives continuous improvement across teams. By connecting systems and stakeholders, they simplify, optimize, and scale customs procedures and embed them across the end‑to‑end supply chain.
The role includes anticipating regulatory changes, enabling performance excellence, and shaping strategies that strengthen Nike’s logistics ecosystem. The Senior Analyst manages diverse stakeholders, aligns cross‑functional responses to market and legal changes, and helps create plans that position customs as a competitive advantage for Nike. Their knowledge of the multi‑channel marketplace, combined with expertise in customs and trade compliance, informs value‑stream mapping and quarterly planning.
They bring a systems‑thinking mindset and a practical, solutions‑oriented approach, with a passion for continuous improvement and navigating global trade challenges.

Experience:
Must Haves
• Proven experience in customs, trade compliance, and/or international logistics, with strong learning agility.
• Strong written and spoken communication skills in English.
• Builds strong cross‑functional partnerships, grows a broad and trusted network, and navigates diverse perspectives that align stakeholders around shared goals
• Adaptable to market, legal, and regulatory changes, while helping teams standardize and optimize processes.
• Ability to tailor communication for different audiences, including authorities and senior leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to research new opportunities, analyze data, and solve unprecedented problems across the network.
Desired Skills
• A proactive, ownership‑driven approach with the ability to identify process gaps, improve ways of working, and lead change in complex, cross‑border supply chains. Experience in a global environment is preferred.
• Data‑savvy, with experience using tools such as Excel or Tableau.
• Written and spoken communication skills in Dutch.
• Willingness to travel up to 5% annually.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
As a Senior Customs Analyst, your mission is to build and strengthen a (global) customs & trade community focusing on standardizing and optimizing processes. Nike is hiring experienced analysts for both the Fundamentals and Operations teams. In both areas, you will translate goals into measurable outcomes—with clear timelines, deliverables, ownership, and cross‑functional alignment—while ensuring steady progress on shared plans.
The Fundamentals team focuses on customs valuation, origin determination (Free Trade Agreements), and classification—key levers for enabling efficient, compliant trade across EMEA. In this role, you will drive standardization and optimization, propose improvements, and collaborate closely with teammates to design and implement innovative solutions. You will also partner with global stakeholders to build streamlined, unified processes that maximize efficiency and duty‑saving opportunities.
The Operations team ensures seamless border crossings across inbound, outbound, reverse, and special procedures. In this role, you will co‑create a performance‑driven community, establishing systems that define KPIs and enabling consistent tracking, measurement, and improvement across customs activities in partnership with global and local stakeholders.
