Senior Data Engineer – NIKE USA Inc. - Beaverton, OR. Extract meaning from data using specialized computer systems to transform, organize, and model the data to draw conclusions and identify patterns; use practical application of data collection and analysis to design, manage and optimize the flow of data throughout the organization; integrate and communicate moderately complex information, sometimes to audiences who are not familiar with the subject matter; act as a resource to teammates; independently utilize knowledge, skills, and abilities to identify areas of opportunity, resolve complex problems & navigate solutions; evaluate and select the right course of action using a variety of skills including sophisticated research, analytical, technical, and problem-solving skills; drive work to completion with hands-on development responsibilities, and partner with the Engineering Manager to provide thought leadership and innovation with the work being done; be part of an agile scrum team, working closely with the Product Manager, Lead Engineer, and other team members that will drive to deliver data and analytics capabilities; collaborate with business partners and other technology solution delivery, architecture, and platform teams; design and build reusable components, frameworks and libraries at scale to support analytics products; identify and tackle issues concerning data management to improve data quality; build continuous integration, test-driven development and production deployment frameworks; and provide production debut support and resolutions for customer production issues, including testing for upgrades for Hana, BW HANA and Business object tools. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S., except from SD, VT, and WV.
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Electronics & Communication, Electrical Engineering, Information Technology and (5) years of progressive post baccalaureate experience in a data-related occupation. Experience must include:
