WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
As Senior Director of Global Store Development, you’ll shape the future of Nike Retail Stores by driving functional excellence and leading transformative store development strategies. You’ll collaborate across Global and Geo Retail functions—including Concept Development, Store Design, Retail Brand, Store Operations, and Procurement—and serve as a key connector among these teams. This role leads three critical functions: Construction, Facilities, and Sustainability, as well as Nike Stores Retail Labs.

- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
- 15+ years of experience in global retail store development, including FF&E development, prototyping, and vendor management
- Proven expertise in leading prototyping processes, retail labs, and mockshops to test and refine store concepts
- Demonstrated success collaborating with cross-functional teams—concept strategy, design, visual merchandising, store operations—to deliver creative, scalable retail solutions
- Track record of managing complex, high-impact projects across diverse regulatory, cultural, and market environments
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Deep knowledge of retail trends, consumer-centric design, sustainability principles, and operational excellence
- Passion for Nike’s mission to inspire athletes and deliver world-class retail experiences
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
As Senior Director of Global Store Development, you’ll lead the creation and execution of innovative retail store concepts across the globe. You’ll oversee every phase of store development—from ideation to delivery—ensuring each space reflects Nike’s brand vision and meets the needs of local markets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead global store development initiatives, including site selection, design, construction, and project delivery
- Partner with cross-functional teams to develop and scale innovative store concepts tailored to regional needs
- Oversee fixture and furniture development, ensuring alignment with brand standards and sustainability goals
- Manage prototyping efforts, including Nike Retail Labs and mockshops, to test and optimize new concepts
- Build and maintain strategic vendor relationships, ensuring quality, efficiency, and timely execution
- Collaborate with regional teams to adapt concepts for local relevance while maintaining global consistency
- Drive innovation in retail experiences to elevate consumer engagement and operational performance
- Ensure all projects meet budget, timeline, and sustainability targets, aligned with Nike’s global standards
