Responsible for the sales operations of the organization. Develops and implements sales strategies, monitors customer, competitor and industry activity. Responsible for research, business development and sales administration.

Develops and execute strategies with strategic accounts; including semi- annual account business plans and monthly revenue targets. Drives business through accounts by utilizing customer service skills and building strong relationships based upon product/category and marketplace expertise which results in consistent target attainment.


Typical Capabilities
Scope: Develops and executes the short-term strategy (<1 year) for a business segment/functional area in alignment with the long term (>1 year) strategy. Decisions impact the business segment or corporate department.
Problem Solving: Defines and resolves complex issues where fundamental principles do not clearly apply or where data appears to conflict. Recommends and receives approval on and drives implementation of new innovative solutions to complex problems with only general precedence available in resolving some unforeseen complications. Conducts thorough analysis, often reaching outside the organization.
Leadership: Achievement of goals has direct impact on company performance and is responsible for team’s overall productivity. Impact is on medium-to-long term goals (1 -5 years). Excellent ability to influence, negotiate, prioritize, and focus. Responsible for talent management, succession planning (including their role) and segmentation activities. Responsible for performance management, pay, and resourcing decisions for direct and indirect reports.

Education Requirement
Bachelor’s degree required in the relevant or a related field, or any acceptable combination of education and experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s degree in the relevant or a related field.
