WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
As Senior Director, Enterprise Strategy, you will play a key role in writing the future for Nike through developing and owning Nike’s Strategic agenda; the most important strategic questions that investigate key business, explore new growth horizons, and identify new sources of advantages,. You will also drive cross-functional partnership around critical business questions and lead off our annual strategic planning process.
Key stakeholders for this role will be Nike’s CEO, Nike’s Senior Leadership Team, Chief Strategy Officer, Strategy Team and Key Peers in Finance, Insights and Risk.
As our Senior Director, Enterprise Strategy leader, you will be responsible for:
Partner with executive leadership to identify medium and long-term risks and opportunities
Identify, track, and analyze emerging trends that may impact our business
Create, prioritize, align and direct Nike Inc’s Strategic Agenda; the most critical strategic questions for the enterprise
Lead cross-functional strategic projects against priorities
Connect the dots across functional strategies to drive cohesion and integration
Provide strategic thought leadership to the executive leadership team, strategy leadership team, and beyond as relevant
Develop a team of strategy directors, senior principals, and managers
Deliver strategic insights & topics at Nike’s Long-Term Strategy Offsite and Strategic Planning Kick-Off
WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training
A minimum of 10 years directly relevant experience
Demonstrated experience influencing and communicating with senior executives
Experience partnering with leadership across all organizational levels
Strategy development experience with global-consumer enterprises (including in-house and/or consulting)
Broad team leadership across Global & Geographies
Ability to drive work through ambiguity in a dynamic, results-oriented environment
