WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The Global Brand Design, Narrative Sr. Expert, ACG, develops the voice that expresses the heart and soul of the ACG brand, using athletes, products, and services to inspire our consumers. They are innovative storytellers, who drive and champion creative strategy, robust concepts, and multi-dimensional storytelling across the globe aligned to the strategic brand direction provided by the ACG Brand Marketing team. They enjoy collaborating and working within environments where they can learn while also being given the responsibility to explore creative ideas whilst working against clear brand objectives to deliver innovative storytelling. They drive writing excellence and collaboration across a variety of projects simultaneously, ensuring that the team delivers comprehensive creative, authentic to product innovation, athlete stories and sport moments. WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
Work with senior creative leadership to develop Nike ACG’s narrative direction.
Contribute to long-term and seasonal creative concepts in partnership with studio teammates and brand partners while delivering outstanding storytelling, from narrative positioning, social content frameworks, and product marketing concepts to supervising in-depth features, campaign content, and scriptwriting.
Working within a multidisciplinary team, you will play a pivotal role in implementing creative storytelling across all our channels.
Encourage excellence, ambition, and team spirit.
Collaborating with the team around you to translate brand briefs and marketing plans into sharp creative strategies and into emotive and innovative stories.
Work strategically with other leads in the business to ensure the strongest approach to external talent.
Contribute to storytelling and coordinate writing for assigned projects, ensuring our content meet and exceeds the highest standards: always on-brand, culturally aware, sport-authentic, insightful, and engaging.
Keep up to date with emerging trends in outdoor sports, fashion, design, film, art, media and technology as relevant to Nike and the design team.
Partner across teams such as editorial, art direction, styling, photography, production, post-production, merchandising, and marketing—throughout the creative process.
Ensure all projects are well-planned, creatively exceptional, and delivered timely.
Review project work for highest standards of quality, consistency and success.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will report directly to the VP Global Creative Director, Men’s and Energy and work closely with creative studio teammates, Brand Voice, Nike Digital and Retail Marketing, Merchandising, Global Styling, the Global Brand Imaging Studio, the Content Production teams and Geo/City Studios.
WHAT YOU BRING
Minimum of 8-10 years of experience leading strategic, narrative, content marketing and creative development.
Bachelor's degree in Writing, Advertising, Marketing, Communications, Journalism or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
A passion for the Athlete*, Sport and Culture.
Skilled in innovative storytelling across multiple platforms and for different audiences.
Stellar portfolio of brand storytelling across platforms, displaying critical thinking, a distinctive voice, authoritative command of style and tone, and an outstanding eye for detail.
Understanding of writing, strategizing, and concepting within a brand organization, and how to translate business priorities into highly engaging consumer-facing content.
Publishing across formats and platforms.
Detailed understanding of today’s creative landscape and how people engage with content from digital products to environments and experiences.
Depth of experience crafting across social, digital, OOH & film, with an expert understanding of platform content creation.
Tried and true experience leading creative productions; from pre-production to on-set leadership and post-production.
Skilled in innovative storytelling across multiple platforms and for different audiences.
Experience with leading agencies and internal partners as well as the ability to carefully plan and effectively handle your schedule
Proven ability to flex and adapt to changing business needs while maintaining creative quality.
Laser-sharp focus with ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure.
Strong time management with ability to toggle between daily and long-term tasks, keeping workstreams moving forward simultaneously.
Excellent verbal and visual communication skills; adept at presenting and defending creative work.
