At NIKE, Inc. it’s about each person bringing skills and passion to a challenging and constantly evolving game.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

The North America Brand Creative Retail team leads Nike’s retail innovation across the largest geography. We fuse strategy and creativity to shape physical retail experiences that connect athletes* to the future of sport. This role reports to a Senior Creative Director and partners closely with Retail Accounts Marketing, Retail Brand, Nike Direct Seasonal Retail, and external agencies to deliver unified, premium marketplace executions.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

Nike is searching for a visionary design leader to elevate Partners Seasonal Retail across North America. You think consumer-first, pushing the boundaries of immersive retail while staying grounded in retail realities. You bring deep experience across environmental design disciplines—from materials and fixture systems to environmental graphic design and digital integration—and can translate complex creative thinking into clear, actionable direction for both internal partners and external agencies.

You stay ahead of cultural, design, and consumer trends, applying that insight to create consistent, scalable storytelling across Partners executions. You thrive in ambiguity, navigate multiple campaigns simultaneously, and know how to influence outcomes at every stage of the creative process. Most importantly, you bring a bold point of view, a collaborative spirit, and an entrepreneurial drive to lead the marketplace into a new era of design excellence.

You bring:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in architectural, experiential, brand, or environmental design.
  • Bachelor’s degree in graphic design, architecture, industrial design, environmental design, or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
  • Awareness of trends in color, graphic design, photography, art, architecture and experience design — and their application to the sport industry.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated experience delivering complex projects of varying scale, budgets, and timelines.
  • Expertise in production design, materiality, fabrication, and emerging manufacturing trends.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating design leadership across spatial, visual, and experiential disciplines.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

You’ll oversee the design of Partners Seasonal Retail, ensuring every campaign reflects Nike’s brand standards and elevates the retail experience across the marketplace. You’ll shape design direction, guide agencies, and drive cross-functional collaboration to deliver best‑in‑class storytelling across North America.

In this role, you will:

  • Partner with the Senior Creative Director to define seasonal and long‑term Partners marketplace design strategy.
  • Review designs across each creative stage, providing clear direction on typography, photography, color, materiality, scale, proportion, and environmental integration to align with the Retail Directive.
  • Collaborate with Nike Direct Seasonal Retail to align and unify design across Nike Direct and Partners executions.
  • Build compelling presentations that communicate creative strategy to leadership and cross-functional partners.
  • Work closely with Accounts Marketing, Retail Brand, Visual Merchandising, Brand Creative, Operations, and external agencies.
  • Identify value-engineering opportunities to maximize design impact while staying within budget.
  • Contribute to the evolution of Nike’s brand standards, design ethos, and operational practices for Partners Retail.
  • Explore new modes of storytelling through lighting, sculpture, motion, environmental graphics, and emerging technologies.
  • Inspire and educate the broader team by sharing cultural and design trends shaping future retail experiences.
  • Travel 5–10% as needed to support high-priority marketplace installs.
