WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
At the Nike European Logistics Campus (ELC) in Laakdal near Antwerp, we play a crucial role in enhancing the athlete's experience through our strong supply chain. We deliver products worldwide, ensuring they arrive at the right time and place. Our passion drives us to continuously improve and provide the best experience.
You will be part of the Financial Planning and Analysis team, serving as the financial business partner for Transportation / Operations. You will collaborate with stakeholders based at ELC within Transportation, Procurement, Operations and Distribution Planning, typically at the Manager and Director level. As a Senior Financial Planning Analyst, you will connect with various teams and business partners both within ELC and our EHQ in Netherlands, providing insights into business dynamics and their impact on the organization and strategy.

- A Master’s degree in Economics, Finance, or Business — or you’ve built your expertise in the field and can prove it when it counts
- A solid track record in financial planning, analysis, and reporting — you read the game behind the numbers and anticipate the next move
- Strong command of MS Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint - your go-to tools to break down performance and tell a winning story
- Proven experience with SAP, TM1 (Cognos), and Tableau. Experience with Alteryx, Snowflake, or similar tools? That’s your extra gear when the pace picks up
- The ability to connect and communicate across the field — from teammates to senior leadership —you know how to bring everyone into the play
- A history of strong partnerships across Finance and Supply Chain — you don’t work in silos, you build winning teams

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
As a Senior Financial Analyst in our FP&A team, you'll play a vital role in shaping the financial strategy of our ELC Distribution Centers or Transportation Flows (inbound/outbound) across the EMEA region. Your expertise will help us make informed decisions, optimize costs, and drive business growth. Your focus areas and responsibilities will be:
- Financial Oversight and Analysis
- Manage financial performance and monthly closing activities
- Analyse and report key performance drivers and trends
- Develop and maintain financial models
- Financial Close (Post S/4 Go-Live)
- Lead the stabilization and continuous improvement of financial close processes following S/4 and SEC go-live.
- Drive automation and standardisation of pre-close and close activities to improve efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Collaborate closely with Controlling to establish and embed new ways of working in a post–S/4 environment.
- Financial Reporting
- Partner with Controlling and the TNO and/or DNO teams to optimize system data quality, integration, and end-to-end data flows.
- Design and implement innovative financial reporting solutions in close collaboration with key stakeholders addressing their and our needs
- In partnership with the PE team, develop and automate freight and/or warehousing reporting solutions
- Further enhance and evolve the TM1 environment to support scalable, insightful financial reporting and planning.
- Strategic Communication and Collaboration
- Regularly present findings and insights to (senior) management and cross-functional teams
- Collaborate closely with business partners to drive process improvements and support business cases.
- Share recommendations for continuous improvement
- Build in a contingency plan to ensure back-up plans can be seamlessly activated where needed
- Forecasting and Planning
- Prepare monthly forecasts and discuss outcomes with business management
- Develop and maintain rolling forecasts and detailed budgets
- Identify and mitigate potential risks and opportunities
- Continuous Improvement and Innovation
- Identify and implement process improvements
