You will partner with cross‑functional teams including Footwear Developers, Designers, Product Line Managers, Sports Marketing, Athlete Concepts, and Materials Development (Sustainability) to deliver product that performs on and off the field.

You will also work directly with Athletes*, consumers, and external partners to gather meaningful, timely feedback, and collaborate with global Footwear Product Testing teammates on prioritized Energy initiatives.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a Senior Footwear Product Testing Analyst to join the Footwear Product Testing team supporting Energy‑driven footwear initiatives based in Los Angeles, CA. This role supports fast‑paced, highly visible footwear projects tied to athlete moments, cultural relevance, and consumer storytelling.

In this role, you will contribute to footwear testing execution across multiple projects, ensuring products meet Nike’s standards for fit, performance, and Athlete* experience. You will operate in environments where timelines are compressed and priorities can shift quickly, requiring adaptability, sound judgment, and strong communication.

As a senior individual contributor, you will support testing strategies, execute test plans, and synthesize Athlete* feedback and quantitative data into clear insights that inform product decisions. You will collaborate closely with cross‑functional partners and global testing teammates, contributing to testing excellence while continuing to grow your technical and professional skillset.

  • 3-5 years experience in a professional working environment; experience in footwear, product testing, development, marketing, engineering, engineering, retail, athletic, or customer service industries is preferred
  • Understanding of footwear components, materials, and inline production processes is a plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Experience working with athletes, coaches, and equipment managers
  • Experience with Microsoft Office programs and familiarity with spreadsheet databases and statistical analysis procedures
  • Ability to physically lift and carry items weighing up to 20 pounds
  • Passion for sport is a plus
  • Must have a functioning and insured car capable of carrying up to 30 pairs of shoes, enabling majority travel (up to 80% of time) within the LA and surrounding area to meet with testers
  • Due to the nature of the work, connecting with Athletes* and consumers face to face, there will be times where you will need to work outside of traditional working hours (specifically weekends and evenings).
  • Ability to travel internationally up to 10% of the year

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

You will support and execute footwear product testing activities for Energy‑driven launches and Athlete moments. You will help plan and conduct wear‑testing, coordinate Athlete* participation, and ensure timely and accurate capture of qualitative and quantitative feedback.

You will share insights to cross‑functional partners, helping teams understand Athlete* needs and product performance in real‑world conditions. Your work will support informed product decisions while balancing testing rigor with the speed required for Energy timelines.
