WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
This role reports to the Manager, Inbound Transportation Korea within Korea Supply Chain. This role will collaborate with multiple stakeholders, both internal and external. Nike origin logistics partners, regional/global operations & transportation team, digital & non-digital distribution receiving team, marketplace supply chain team, and integrated business planning team to manage import/export shipment in right place at the right time.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for an experienced basic knowledge of Supply Chain Import & export industry and have understanding the inbound shipment delivery process and transportation from origin to destination is responsible for end-to-end execution of origin communication, shipment planning, system control and logistics-service provider measures for inbound operations excellence. This role will also focus on digital & non-digital cost & process analysis for entire inbound planning and execution under product importation and look for opportunities to expand the inbound & transportation future state. The inbound associate will prioritize high volume requests from Nike’s internal commercial team partners and will optimize every single product delivery readiness on time. This role will be based in Nike Seoul headquarters and there may be business trips to work-related areas.
Minimum of 1 years of supply chain and operations experience.
Bachelor’s degree in business, Analytics, Supply Chain, International Trade, or related field.
Strong written and oral communication skills both Korean & English.
Competency in researching, analysing and problem-solving skills is used in seeking out. opportunities to advance and improve business, policy & procedure development.
Excellent strategic planning, time management, prioritizing, interpersonal skills and multitasking abilities.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You will use Nike’s internal systems to review product delivery schedule and determine shipment load plan for maximize fill rate and transportation cost saving. You will be responsible for the origin communication of product delivery confirmation for Korea importation under trade law & system:
Work directly with logistics service providers (ocean carrier, air forwarder, inland trucker & customs broker) to provide inbound shipment delivery progress, shipping documentation, and resolve the delivery matter from origin to destination.
Use transportation system to track shipment from origin to destination along with internal & external partners to improve inbound visibility.
Facilitate functional meetings to align the objective with cross-channel for business decision and analyze non-value-added cost & process to reduce inefficiencies.
Verify process development & cost saving, maintain inbound procedure relating to standard document to ensure consistency of inbound operations excellence including internal & external report submission.
Create internal & external inbound performance report with deep business analysis including target, variance, risk and opportunity to ensure on time product.
Work with trade & customs team to resolve problems in the end-to-end inbound logistics process.
