Senior Infrastructure Engineer - NIKE, Inc.- Beaverton, OR. Provides technical engineering and support for client, server and network hardware; performs technical support and administration of packaged applications and software; provides operational support such as Help Desk, datacenter and desktop support; conducts technical security support, and oversee technical vendor relationships; optimizes the capability of the IT infrastructure and service to deliver cost effective and sustained level of application availability; develops complex tools and processes in the support of continuity management; execute tests for system continuity; designs, tests, and implements monitoring tools and processes; writes procedures to respond to results so system issues are brought to resolution; collects metrics over a long term for trending; perform complex work to install hardware and software taking proactive steps to assure success; devises process and procedure for applying and maintaining security settings and user access based on technology platform; and recommends improvements as indicated based on analysis of current techniques and perceived imperfections. Telecommuting is available from anywhere in the U.S., except from AK, AL, AR, DE, HI, IA, ID, IN, KS, KY, LA, MT, ND, NE, NH, NM, NV, OH, OK, RI, SD, VT, WV, and WY.
Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Network Engineering or Electronic Engineering and Five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related engineer-related occupation.
Experience must include:
Cisco platforms including ISR, ASR, Catalyst Switching, and ASA
Opening managing RMA and TAC cases with Cisco
Cisco DNA Center
SDWAN platforms
Ticketing and work project Systems such as ServiceNow and Jira
L2/L3 switching
EIGRP/BGP/OSPF routing
DHCP and DNS
Python and Perl
Solarwinds and Devo
