Who You’ll Work With
This role sits within Nike’s GC Learning & Development (L&D), a team that strengthens employee and leadership capabilities for the enterprise, across first-line and corporate populations. This global positions reports in to the Director, L&D, Operations and Facilitation. You will sit in GC and partner closely with the GC Lead L&D Delivery Manager, APLA L&D and the Global L&D team- including Program Design, Facilitation and Operations teams. The Senior, Learning & Development also collaborates with GC HR, People Solutions, business leaders, and external vendors. All with an end goal to ensure learning solutions are strategically aligned, operationally ready, and delivered with excellence.
Who We’re Looking For
We’re looking for someone who thrives in both strategy and delivery and who is equally comfortable owning complex programs end‑to‑end and facilitating meaningful learning moments with senior audiences. The Senior, Learning & Development participates in and manages design, execution, and facilitation of enterprise learning in GC. Responsible for L&D programs that energize careers, strengthen leadership capability, and amplify Nike’s culture.
The ideal individual brings strong ownership, executive presence, and a learner‑first mindset. You enjoy navigating ambiguity, managing multiple priorities, and building trusted partnerships across geographies. You can read a room, create brave spaces for reflection, and pivot in real time, while also ensuring operational precision behind the scenes. Required qualifications include:
- Bachelor’s degree in Learning & Development, Human Resources, Education, Business, Communications, a related field, or equivalent combination of education, experience, and training
- 3+ years of experience across learning operations, facilitation, leadership development, instructional design, or related L&D roles
- Demonstrated experience facilitating corporate learning experiences, including director‑level audiences
- Proven ability to lead and manage complex learning initiatives with multiple stakeholders, timelines, and dependencies
- Strong attention to detail, follow‑through, and operational excellence
- Experience using learning systems and tools such as Workday Learning, Zoom Webinars, and enterprise communication platforms
- Strong communication skills, executive presence, and ability to influence across functions and cultures
- Global mindset with an understanding of how learning lands across regions and environments
- Experience across first-line and corporate audiences is preferable
What You’ll Work On
You will bring Nike’s learning and leadership development strategy to life, ensuring programs are thoughtfully designed, operationally sound, and powerfully delivered. Your work spans strategy, program ownership, facilitation, and execution, with a focus on delivering a consistent, high‑quality experience for learners worldwide.
Key responsibilities include:
Strategic & Program Leadership
- Serve as the GC program owner for core L&D programs, ensuring alignment to teammate and leadership development strategies
- Design and evolve learning solutions that energize careers, elevate coaching, and strengthen leadership capability
- Partner cross‑functionally across HR, People Solutions, COEs, and business leaders to identify learning needs and deliver integrated solutions
- Manage strategic learning initiatives, including stakeholder engagement, issue escalation, budgets, and delivery milestones
- Partner with the Global L&D Program Design team to provide practitioner insights, learner feedback, and operational perspective to inform program design and evolution; in‑geo, collaborate with regional stakeholders and, where needed, lead the design and delivery of learning programs aligned to global strategy and local business needs.
Facilitation & Learning Delivery
- Facilitate enterprise leadership programs, senior‑level development experiences, and complex learning sessions across regions
- Create engaging, inclusive learning environments that encourage reflection, connection, and action
- Adapt facilitation style in real time to meet the needs of diverse senior audiences and leadership contexts
- Collaborate with peer facilitators and program designers to maintain consistency and excellence across delivery
Operations & Execution
- Execute end‑to‑end learning program logistics, including scheduling, communications, vendor coordination, and budget tracking
- Drive operational readiness by partnering closely with design and facilitation teams
- Act as a primary point of contact for day‑to‑day program operations and delivery
- Maintain learning calendars, operational milestones, and key program data
- Produce, validate, and distribute reports (e.g., attendance, forecasting, feedback insights) to inform decisions
- Manage courses, assignments, and reporting in Workday Learning
Continuous Improvement & Impact
- Use participant feedback, learning metrics, and data to continuously improve learning solutions
- Identify opportunities to innovate learning methods and elevate the participant experience
- Optimize spend and evaluate upstream and downstream impacts of program and budget decisions
- Build and sustain strong internal and external networks within the learning and development community
