WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking an exceptional marketing leader who will support in driving the Brand Engagement vision for Converse globally. The Senior Manager of Global Brand Engagement will report into the Senior Director of Global Brand Engagement at Converse. You will lead the cross-functional brand offense working across various functions within marketing, Geography-based marketplace, communications, social, and more.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

The Senior Manager of Global Brand Engagement will lead the development of key seasonal deliverables, which could include the seasonal sell-in toolkit and seasonal brief. You will lead the development of marketing plans against key global Sports and Entertainment launches, on an as needed basis.

  • Brand Sell-In Toolkit: Own marketing deliverables (with the MLT) for the seasonal sell-in toolkit, including brand foundation, seasonal strategy, product details, functional plans, creative direction, etc.
  • Global Marketing Brief: Lead the Global brief, in partnership with the MLT, including seasonal strategy, consumer insights, seasonal approach, creative direction, and critical marketing levers.
  • Geo Marketing Plans: Drive coordination across Geos to ensure strategic alignment to Global brief as Geos develop localized plans
  • Sports & Entertainment Plans: Lead full marketing plans against S&E on an as needed basis, in partnership with S&E team
  • Hind-sighting: Support work, in partnership with Geos and functions, to understand results and learnings against key initiatives

   

     

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, experience or training
  • Minimum of 8 years of brand marketing or brand management experience
  • In-house experience working for a global Brand; experience leading cross-functional teams to make seasonal marketing visions come to life on a global scale
  • Strong leadership presence and ability to lead through influence
  • Global execution experience 
  • Big picture thinker who can connect our daily work to our critical enterprise priorities
  • Consumer centered
  • Extremely strong cross-functional collaborator
  • Experience translating strategy into execution
  • Strong business acumen
