WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
As a Senior Manager, you will operate with a people-first mentality while leading your team to deliver on business goals to support Nike’s product creation calendars and processes. You will report directly to the Production Studio Director, while working with fellow Senior Managers to deliver best-in-class Design Assistance to the entire Nike Apparel organization.
Outside of the Studio, your primary partners will be Apparel Design, Graphic Design, Product Management, Technical Development, Material Development, Digital Apparel, and Design Operations.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a Senior Manager to join the Apparel Production team to lead a team of Graphic Production Artists in a fast paced, results-driven, accuracy-focused environment within the Tees organization.
This role requires a blend of expertise in product creation (particularly in graphic application and digital creation), as well as a proven track record leading people in a complex, matrixed environment. We are looking for a leader who loves Design, is persistent in finding efficiencies and new ways of working, and is drawn to the technical side of Design. This candidate needs to have a creative mindset and the ability to manage multiple, competing projects in a time-sensitive environment, while keeping the team moving forward.
You will plan, manage, and monitor workload against seasonal, sport, and business demands.
This role requires constant evolution and flexibility to respond to changing priorities – no two days are the same and you should be hungry to define future way of working.
You will collaborate with peers, communicate strategy, and ensure that Apparel production development deadlines are met.
This role manages employees with an inclusive approach and sets individual goals that link to departmental priorities.
You should be curious, have a positive attitude, enjoy process and creating efficiencies and be a strong communicator and collaborator.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
This role requires the use of best practices and business knowledge to influence process and enable efficiency within a large production studio including:
People performance and management
Monitor and adjust workloads
Balance resources with demands and communicate plans with partners
Work with peers on seasonal calendar planning to ensure that production deadlines meet the needs for development of Apparel Product
Identify and provide creative solutions to challenging opportunities/processes
Ability to engage with all levels of internal leadership
WHAT YOU BRING
Bachelor’s degree in Design or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
Minimum of 5 years progressively responsible experience in production art using Adobe Creative Suite.
Experience in CLO and Lotta a plus but not required.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills. Ability to clearly articulate policies and instructions.
Demonstrated experience in optimizing process, managing workflows and leading complex design operations.
Skilled in strategic leadership, with a strong ability to plan, prioritize, and deliver results, while navigating cross-functional collaboration and business objectives.
Self-motivated, results oriented and well-organized.
Ability to collaborate, share ideas and develop effective responses or elevate to higher management.
Ability to stay current with industry technology, tools and capabilities.
Must have a positive attitude, be curious, fun and calm under pressure.
