WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

Jordan Brand North America is hiring a Senior Manager, Stores, to join the Direct Merchandising Team and the broader Direct Marketplace organization. This role leads merchandising for the full Jordan Product Portfolio (Streetwear & Sport; Apparel & Footwear; Men’s/Women’s/Kids) across Jordan and Nike Stores within the North America geography.

The team partners closely with merchants, buyers, and Nike Direct cross-functional groups—particularly Digital and Stores Buying, Sport Merchandising, Planning, Allocation, Visual Merchandising, and Brand Marketing. Collaboration extends to finance, operations, and insights/analytics teams, using quantitative and qualitative reporting on sales, inventory, and consumer behavior to drive informed decisions.

The role reports to the Jordan North America Direct Merchandising Director.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

The ideal candidate brings strong retail acumen, analytical strength, and a deep understanding of physical retail environments. They demonstrate a consumer-first mindset, strong cross-functional influence, and the ability to build seasonal assortment plans with a retail end in mind. This role will lead two direct reports in support of the Jordan Stores business.

What you bring:

  • Requires Bachelor’s Degree or additional 2 years experience in lieu of degree
  • 5+ years experience in footwear or apparel buying and/or merchandising, product creation and/or retail in a vertical, multi-brand or digital environment
  • Strong affinity for current market trends and how Nike apparel can continue to be a style leader in the marketplace
  • Footwear, Apparel, Equipment or relevant consumer product buying and/or merchandising experience
  • Understanding of common retail and/or digital profit-based metrics such as sell-through, turn, ASP, UPT and others
  • Ability to contribute to and drive strategy into action
  • Demonstrated experience leading a direct or indirect reports
  • Ability to travel up to 20%

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

You will own and oversee bringing the seasonal assortment to life in Owned Stores. You will connect marketplace insights, cross-gender coordination, and brand alignment (Nike & Jordan) to shape strong, consumer-led plans. You will collaborate with cross-functional partners to ensure assortment strategies meet consumer needs and execute seamlessly.

You will refine multi-season consumer-centric assortments, grounded in Nike Direct’s position in the market and competitive dynamics. You will participate in seasonal buy reviews and in-season trading, using insights to influence decisions and drive growth with your key partners.
