As part of the Partner Marketing Team in EMEA, you will work on stories and marketing campaigns in inspired by the Athlete Way; featuring products, Athletes and services to inspire and enable the youth. Pushing boundaries, you will develop, support and drive timely and effective delivery of seasonal Marketing plans, ensuring product innovation & member engagement is at the forefront of all planning and execution across all relevant partners and their channels. You will evaluate these campaigns and take learnings for upcoming stories.
 

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
 

We are seeking to fill 4 Senior Manager Partner Marketing positions, each dedicated to one of the following marketplace partners:

  • JD Sports (reporting into Partner Marketing Director Men’s NSW)
  • Footlocker (reporting into Partner Marketing Director Men’s NSW)
  • Zalando (reporting into Partner Marketing Director Women’s NSW)
  • Intersport  & Key Sports/Specialty Sports (reporting into Partner Marketing Director Performance)
     

This position is responsible for leading a team and establishing the Partner Marketing strategic direction for the partner, with a focus on the lead FoP.

This role is ideal for a passionate marketeer with a digital and/or retail background who shares our love for sport, youth culture, and consumer insights. This person loves pushing thinking into new innovative spaces and strives for executional excellence. 
 

The candidate needs to have an agile mindset and ability to work in a high pace, evolving environment. Dealing with complexity and change is not an issue and this person brings incredible energy as an empathetic, team leader.
 

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON 
 

You will be leading the Partner Marketing team dedicated to your marketplace partner and lead Field(s) of Play (FoP). Collaborating with the Consumer Construct and cross-functional partner team you will drive our seasonal offense and build marketing strategies & plans that support our key brand and business priorities. 
 

Core Responsibilities: 

  • Lead development and execution of annual partner marketing strategies & plans, through the lens of account positioning, focusing on Innovation, Sport and Cultural Moments, Athletes, Catalysts and Communities 
  • Drive long-term product & consumer journeys through collaboration with Consumer Construct, cross-functional partner team (Merchandising, Sales, Planning,finance, etc.) and Partner Management teams 
  • Ensure excellent campaign execution through consumer insights, integrated journeys, and elevated retail and digital experiences 
  • Lead, coach and inspire your team  of Partner Marketing lead professionals, senior professionals and/or specialists and establish and drive a culture of mentorship & partnership across your (extended) team.
  • Manage centralized budget, trade terms and operations while evaluating campaign performance for continuous improvement 
     

In this role, you will develop, support and drive timely and effective delivery of seasonal Marketing plans, ensuring product innovation & a consumer first mindset is at the forefront of all planning and execution across all relevant partners and their channels. You'll be responsible for evaluating these campaigns and implementing learnings for upcoming stories, while pushing boundaries with innovative thinking and maintaining executional excellence. 
 

WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH 
 

You will report to the Director, Partner Marketing, (Men's NSW, Women’s NSW or Performance) and work alongside teams of other (Senior) Partner Marketing Managers, Lead Professionals, and Specialists with a focus on either Fields of Play or specific Partners. You will partner with the EMEA Consumer Construct Brand teams and work closely with the EMEA and Global Retail and Partner Marketing teams on strategic and creative direction. Within the partner space, the marketplace Field of Play squads -which include cross-functional representation across merchandising, planning and partner management- will be your daily connection to the Partner business. For planning and execution of the seasonal marketing campaigns and storytelling, you will collaborate with account executives, Nike city teams, partner marketing staff, and agency resources. 

WHAT YOU BRING
 

We are hiring for a Senior Manager Partner Marketing position, focussed on a marketplace partner.  This role will be responsible for leading a team and setting the Partner Marketing strategic direction for the marketplace partner and focussed on the lead Field(s) of Play (FoP).
 

The ideal candidate is a strategic marketeer with a strong understanding of brand, retail and digital marketing, who brings a deep passion for sport, sportswear and youth culture. You thrive in a high-pace, evolving environment and excel at dealing with complexity and change as an empathetic team leader. 
 

Key Skills: 

  • You have a deep understanding of sports, athletes, sportswear (youth culture) and their communities, with proven ability to interpret their motivations and challenges to inform marketing strategies.
  • You have a track record of successfully managing projects in one or multiple marketing functions, including brand management, retail, or digital marketing.
  • You have the habit of managing multiple and shifting priorities with an agile mindset: elegantly redirecting energy and focus based on brand and business priorities.
  • An absolute self-starter, high interest in operating in collaborative autonomy and you can demonstrate where and how you have taken initiative to get work done on your own and as a part of a team.
  • You are skilled at analyzing marketplace trends, consumer behavior, and business KPIs to recommend best practices and apply learnings.
  • With your strong leadership skills, you inspire and guide teams with passion, empathy, and commitment.
  • You have knowledge of sport, entertainment, fashion, streetwear and retail industries.
