This role advances AirMI’s digital capability in product and manufacturing innovation. Responsibilities include the administrative setup, data management, and system performance of technical applications, setting good document management practices, driving continuous improvement, deploying and optimizing data management and software solutions in manufacturing engineering area, collaborating cross functionally to deliver innovative solutions.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
The candidate needs to be a champion of change; Identify, present and drive change initiatives and new capabilities in Teamcenter, Siemens NX, Solidworks and Jobpack. The candidate collaborates with cross functional teams, is self-directed and results orientated with the ability to achieve aggressive goals despite ambiguity and multiple priorities. The candidate will communicate clearly with technical and business-facing teammates. This teammate will define solution options, provide estimates on effort and risk, and evaluate technical feasibility. The candidate has experience with DevOps, including development, QA, and operations skills and has solid computer science fundamentals, including algorithms and data structures. The candidate will have good organizational ability and create standard work and process documentation. The candidate has knowledge and proven experience developing, implementing and managing applications in the Office 365 Suite including PowerApps, SharePoint, Flow, and PowerBI and knowledge on connectivity between Office365 and Windows Cloud Platform apps. The candidate has a background implementing and managing technical collaboration tools such as Wrike, Smartsheet, Google Sheets, AirTable and Microsoft Teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Mechanical Engineering or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
- 3+ years of hands on application engineering experience
- Experience with 3D CAD/CAM tools and PDM/PLM. NX and Teamcenter preferred.
- Experience with production scheduling software and/or ERP systems.
- Working Knowledge of Mechanical and Process Engineering in Manufacturing environments
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
As the Manufacturing Engineer, Applications you analyze, evolve and maintain Teamcenter PLM system performance and assist in training and support of current and new Teamcenter users. You author, review and maintain system documentation, install, patch, and upgrade software.
You understand and implement best practices and technical standards, holding security as a priority when designing applications.
- You will become a subject matter expert in all software solutions in your manufacturing engineering domain
- You effectively communicate with cross functional stakeholders in Design, Tooling, Tooling Engineering, Manufacturing and Project Management on a day-to-day basis
- You consult and coordinate with Global Nike Tech on system implementation projects
- You get to partner with the Leads, Architects, Product/Process Owners, Product Managers & SME’s to deliver innovative solutions for AirMI’s multiple locations and teams.
