WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
This role reports to the Materials Manufacturing Senior Manager. You will work collaboratively with external footwear material vendors and key internal partners across Materials Manufacturing, Development, Sourcing, Sustainability, and the broader Nike Materials Supply Chain (MatSC) organization.

As Senior Materials Manufacturing, you will drive strategic priorities and sustained performance with Nike’s key footwear material partners. You will assess and support their capabilities while ensuring delivery of quality, cost, sustainability, and innovation objectives that fuel Nike’s growth.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
• Manage daily operations and performance with key footwear material vendors, ensuring targets for quality, cost, delivery, and sustainability are consistently met. Build and maintain strong relationships that foster accountability and enable continuous improvement on the ground.
• Support execution of seasonal priorities and vendor initiatives by collaborating with cross-functional teams across Materials Manufacturing, Sourcing, Planning, Material Development, Chemical Engineering and assoicate stakeholders. Drive alignment on key deliverables and proactively address challenges that may impact timelines or outcomes.
• Lead strategic conversations with partners to align on long-term capability development, sourcing strategy, innovation opportunities, and Nike’s evolving supply chain direction. Encourage a forward-looking mindset that balances short-term needs with future readiness. (Critical Chemical Vendors Focus)
• Monitor and communicate vendor risk, capacity, and performance trends using data-driven tools and reports. Translate insights into clear recommendations that support enterprise decision-making and strengthen Nike’s material supply base.
WHAT YOU BRING
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- 7+ years relevant supply chain, materials, or manufacturing experience preferred
- Solid knowledge and experience in footwear manufacturing and supply chain preferred; Chemical specific knowledge is a plus
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
- Proficient in project management, problem solving, and driving results
- You are comfortable engaging with different partner groups, tailoring your messages accordingly and building strong partnerships.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and working in a matrixed organization
- Ability to travel up to 10%
