WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH

You will partner with the Nike Market place planning teams (Merchandise Financial Planners and Assortment Planners) of both the function and marketplace unit. The commercial and Planning teams of the Fields of Play and marketplace partners are your main stakeholders.

The Senior Merchandise Financial Planner is an analytical problem solver, flexible thinker and good communicator who is comfortable learning quickly and connecting the dots to create and drive plans. Bringing a strong passion for consumers and being able to navigate through ambiguity, they connect commercial needs into multiple seasonal plans. They are able to provide details that compel and drive action and drives alignment. They create energy with an exceptional self-driven approach to simplify the complex and thrives in a fast paced ever changing environment. 

We are looking for a person with:

  • Business Planning Experience, inclusive of Planning, Finance and Merchandising Planning experience

  • Understand the E2E process of supply chain

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Excellent verbal/written communication skills in order to communicate to a broad audience of senior leaders as well as marketplace partners

  • Strong understanding of automated systems/Excel/MS Windows

WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON

The Senior Merchandise Financial Planner will Co-Lead a 6 season Merchandise Financial Plan & SSP (Retail sales, SBR and Inventory). Partner with marketplace planning to manage a realistic R&O at CFOP x MPU Level for 6 rolling seasons. Create consumer scenarios to expose and quantify the key drivers behind different strategic planning scenarios. Influence Marketplace with consumer/CFOP Strategy (Seasons 4-6) at MPU Level.

Reconcile AP Plan with MFP Plan by leveraging R&O to identify the differences and the gaps vs the target. Set and influence E2E inventory health within and across MPUs linking it to strategic targets at MPU x CFOP x PE level.

Partner with marketplace to capture in-season consumer/trends insights (seasons 1-3) at MPU level and drive actionable decision making.

Guide MPUs through target setting that aligns with Consumer Demand, Brand strategy and financial goals.
