WHO YOU'LL WORK WITH
This role is part of the Planning function which interacts with various stakeholders to better sense and shape consumer demand for the Nike Digital ecosystem and its strategic priorities. This includes functions like Finance, Business Offense, Commercial moments, Integrated Media, Assortment Planning and Consumer MFP. The position reports to the MFP Director and collaborates with a team of four other MFP planners.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Demonstrate experience in Merchandise Financial Planning (both retail and wholesale) & good understanding of finance, supply chain and other planning processes
Planning expertise in a Digital/e-Commerce environment and great understanding of retail-KPI and their impact on the P&L
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to engage efficiently with a broad range of audiences including senior business leaders and other senior planning leaders
Strong analytical, problem-solving and scenario planning skills,
Excellent knowledge of automated planning systems, MS Windows applications, particularly Excel
Can identify commercial opportunities or risks and leads decision making based on well-developed merch financial plans
A strategic outlook and experience in leading projects in a complex matrix organization
Ability to influence senior stakeholders through clear storytelling & business acumen
WHAT YOU'LL WORK ON
Understand consumer needs & marketplace from available data and is able to link plan with market trends
Shape and contribute to 6 season Stock to Sales Plan (from Retail Sales to inventory) for Consumer Fields of Play including R&O management
Design compelling communications that articulate the story and insights with a clear summary of the main ideas.
Partner with key stakeholders within marketplace unit and across Geo to support the Digital business health throughout 6 season planning horizon.
Support the weekly trade activities from an MFP lens by highlighting trends and identify R&O to also shape future seasons planning.
Help drive reconciliation between MFP and Assortment Planning to highlight potential inventory risks at a Field of Play level.
Execute cross-MPU trade-off actions to drive consumer demand, Nike and partner margin and optimize overall marketplace inventory health
