The Sr. Merchandise Financial Planner within the Nike Marketplace Partners (NMP) team is an analytical problem solver, flexible thinker, and good communicator who is comfortable learning quickly and connecting the dots to create and drive plans. Bringing a strong passion for consumers and being able to navigate through ambiguity, they connect commercial needs into multi-seasonal plans. They are able to provide the details that compel action and drives alignment. WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
Shape and contribute to 6 season Merchandise Financial Plan (Order Books to Net Ship, Margin and inventory) for Consumer Fields of Play x Marketplace Units including management of R&O between CFOP x Marketplace.
This means:
Maintain Merch Financial Plan at sub-MPU dimensions (e.g. banner, account, account group). Partner with Consumer planning & own all seasons after bookings broadcast
Partner with key stakeholders across Geo to drive marketplace business health throughout the in-season product life cycle
·Influence and Execute In-Season Inventory Sell Through within Marketplace and support the weekly trade process and actions
Reconcile In-Season Assortment Plans with Planning Rolling Forecast and Align to Consumer Fields of Play. Execute cross-MPU trade-off actions to drive consumer demand, Nike and partner margin and
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will collaborate with NMP Planning teams (Merch Financial Planners and Assortment Planners), and the leadership teams of both the function and Marketplace Unit. The Commercial and Planning teams, for Fields of Play and Marketplace Partners, are your main stakeholders.
WHAT WILL YOU BRING
Experience in Business Planning, inclusive of Planning, Finance, and Merchandising planning processes
Understanding of process-flow through end-to-end supply chains
Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to engage efficiently with a broad range of audiences including retail partner, senior business leaders, other senior planning leaders, and highly technical talents.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent knowledge of automated planning systems,
Growth mindset that is ready to leverage statistical forecasting and data science to develop a decision-oriented plan
Ability to influence and design compelling communication grounded in data
MS Windows applications, particularly Excel
