Overview of the Job:

  • The role is responsible for shaping the merchandising strategy, managing the consumer product offering, and leading end-to-end product conversation with Global and Geo counterparts to drive sustainable growth for Nike Kids.
  • Focus on Kids Sportswear footwear

Reporting Line:

  • Direct report to GC Kids footwear merchandising director

Key Partnership:

  • GC Kids x-functional team
  • Global Kids merchandising
  • GC merchandising

Job Responsibility:

  • Be a consumer, product and merchandising expert.
  • Initiate creative ideas for Kids product development.
  • Partner with global on GC product request. Provide GC insight & deliver long term product line plan.
  • Product management encompasses setting GC's strategic intent, managing the product lifecycle, determining pricing and flow, and conducting performance analysis.
  • Keep end in mind. Work with the marketplace team to drive assortment segmentation and differentiation. 

Skills / Experience Required

  • Consumer product merchandising experience / knowledge
  • Curious about Kids consumer and footwear products. Offers creative ideas and innovative solutions.
  • Look to the future. Proactively observe consumers, identify insights, and translate them into strategic product requests.
  • Strong communication skills to hold constructive dialogue
  • Demonstrate openness to change and convey a desire to achieve meaningful results
  • Fluent in English
  • Retail and financial acumen
