We are seeking a seasoned and proactive Senior Event Planner to join the NA PGTM [North America Partners Go-To-Market] team. This high-profile role supports both internal Nike senior leadership and external senior leaders from our most important sales partners. The ideal candidate will bring deep event planning experience, a process-driven mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, matrixed environment. This is not a remote position and requires the ability to travel.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

  • Event Strategy & Execution: Lead end-to-end planning and execution of internal and external-facing events, including GTM [Go-To-Market] sales meetings, seasonal KAPM [Key Account Planning Meeting) selling sessions, and Partner Summits 
  • Logistics Oversight: Manage all logistics including registration, travel (airfare, hotel, transportation), catering, offsite dinners, and amenity orders 
  • Onsite & Offsite Support: Provide hands-on support during events, including name badge production, vendor coordination, and real-time troubleshooting 
  • Budget Management: Own and manage event budgets. Collaborate with internal finance teams and external vendors to track costs, issue POs, and ensure events are delivered within budget 
  • Process & Innovation: Identify and implement process improvements. Leverage technology to streamline workflows and introduce innovative planning solutions.
  • Multi-Event Management: Balance multiple concurrent events, each with unique timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables.
  • Nike Business Acumen: Understand Nike’s matrixed structure and the role of the NA PGTM team in the broader North America Marketplace strategy.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

  • Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with Nike senior leaders and external sales partner executives to shape agendas, manage attendee lists with purpose, and ensure alignment on event goals 

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in Business or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in meeting and event planning, including hotel operations, catering, and travel logistics.
  • Proven ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder events with competing priorities.
  • Strong organizational and communication skills with a customer-first mindset.
  • Experience supporting senior leadership and navigating cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with Nike’s internal systems and Go-To-Market processes is a plus.
  • Event Management: CVENT (preferred), or similar platforms.
  • Project Management: AirTable, Smartsheet, or comparable tools.
  • Productivity & Collaboration: Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Box.
  • Travel & Expense: Concur and other internal Nike systems.
  • Innovation & Efficiency: Ability to quickly learn and adopt new tools to improve workflows and event execution.
  • Ability to travel and provide onsite support as needed.
  • This is an in-office role and not eligible for remote work.
