As part of the Enterprise Business Planning (EBP) team, this role reports to the Pacific Director of EBP and partners with Nike Direct, Marketplace, Supply Chain, and Finance teams. The position has no direct reports and thrives on collaboration across functions to optimise inventory and deliver business goals.
Nike Pacific seeks a strategic thinker with a passion for end-to-end inventory management and a sharp analytical mindset. This individual will balance short- and long-term objectives, using insights and storytelling to influence stakeholders and drive decisions. Success in this role requires curiosity, adaptability, and the ability to navigate complexity with confidence.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
- 3+ years’ professional experience in inventory management, supply chain, operations, planning or finance.
- Proficiency in Excel; familiarity with Think-Cell, TM1, Cognos BI, SAP, Tableau, O9 preferred.
- Demonstrated ability to influence, lead change, and deliver results through compelling storytelling.
- Demonstrated communication ability with internal and external stakeholders.
You’ll lead inventory optimisation strategies that maximise revenue, margin, and profitability across all channels and planning horizons.
Core Responsibilities
- Drive monthly inventory forecasting accuracy across short-, medium-, and long-term horizons.
- Partner with Nike Direct, Marketplace, Supply Chain, and Finance to resolve risks and seize opportunities.
- Analyse data to achieve key metrics: Weeks of Supply, Close Out %, Unallocated %, and Franchise Health.
- Evaluate financial, operational, and consumer trade-offs to inform decisions.
- Use data visualisation and storytelling to influence stakeholders and align actions.
- Engage in structured forums and ad-hoc problem-solving to maintain healthy inventory.
- Collaborate across time zones and functions to deliver Pacific business objectives.
