WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
This role is heavily collaborative, working with many cross-functional teams such as Buying, Nike Direct Planning, Finance, and Nike Direct Consumer teams. You will also work closely with the SNKRS cross-functional team, across marketplace, consumer, and global.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a Senior Planner to partner with Nike Direct Merchandise Planning and Nike Direct Consumer teams to analyze and manage business and operation changes, ensuring all stock and sales plans reconcile and meet channel profitability and inventory management objectives.
You bring:
- 4+ years in business planning, assortment planning, merchandise planning or equivalent experience
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.
- Self-starter with ability to manage through ambiguity in a fast-paced environment
- Strong influencing skills and ability to story-tell data across a diverse range of audiences
- Ability to perform business analysis to build in-season strategies inclusive of markdown recommendations and execution, promo assortment building and Open to Buy reconciliation across tops-down and bottoms-up forecasts
- High proficiency in problem solving and critical thinking skills and able to develop accurate plans that optimize trade-offs and outcomes

In this role, you will drive the in-season offense, partnering with Merchandise Planning and ND Consumer teams to influence and give guidance on weekly and monthly targets, ensuring consistency on driving the actualization of One Plan.
As part of the SNKRS team, you will help create, cultivate, and elevate sneaker culture through healthy and strategic management of demand and supply plans. You will partner with the broader cross-functional team to build and refine strategies; you will support strategies with development of comprehensive financial forecasts for our most coveted products.
This role will include presenting financial plans, forecasts and strategies in key meetings. You will proactively report on the health of the business and facilitate sound business decisions and action plans, to managers and cross-functional team members, on a weekly basis. You will collaborate with peers to ensure consistency of information, create best practices, and develop systems knowledge. In addition, you will participate in a team structure that facilitates and maximizes individual and team performance, supporting and fostering an open and inclusive environment that embraces diversity, encourages accountability, and drives toward results.
