Global Places and Services (GPS) is responsible for leading the transformation of the Nike workplace by making location as a competitive advantage through a relentless focus on physical space, services and portfolio solutions.
The role will be based in Seoul, Korea with travel (approximately 20%-30%) and will report directly into the Senior Director, GPS Global Supply Chain based at World Headquarters in Portland, Oregon but will work closely with all members of the GPS team and Supply Chain leaders in the respective Geos.

The GPS team will leverage systems, design thinking, and key partnerships across the Nike matrix and the industry to bring Nike to the forefront of new ways of working. The team will serve as an enterprise catalyst under the CFO, helping to drive change, strengthen its global operations and accelerate progress toward Nike’s strategic objectives and in support of the Next% Offense.
The Senior Principal, GPS Supply Chain will act as a point of connection between Nike’s global Supply Chain and GPS specifically to support Supply Chain operations in two operating Geos, Greater China and Asia Pac a portfolio of 7 million square feet. With strategic vision, all round experience and influencing skills, the ideal candidate will lever the core unique capabilities of GPS and partnerships across Nike to enable the Supply Chain of the future.
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in related field of expertise namely, real estate, supply chain logistics, asset/portfolio management, workplace services leader
- 8+ years of work experience intimately familiar with Supply Chain operations associated supporting services and infrastructure and supporting large scale Supply Chain network programs
- Proficiency in real estate/portfolio/asset and facility management with strong project management skills and ability to oversee multiple activities and initiatives simultaneously
- Planning, implementation and proven track record of success of workplace services and programs ideally to support Supply Chain networks
- Ability to design and manage programs in a dynamic multinational context and successful background working in and navigating in a corporate matrix environment at high pace with both in house and external partners with experience in vendor management & negotiations.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to express ideas with clarity and persuasion and ability to engage in with senior stakeholders across all levels of the organisation

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
Given Nike’s complex needs and global presence, GPS already faces tremendous pressure to meet increased flexibility and improve services and infrastructure globally. There is a pressing need to challenge assumptions, innovate new solutions and elevate design excellence across the GPS organization, and the portfolio of Nike facilities worldwide.
If this is you, you will establish a deep understanding of the Supply Chain vision, strategy, operating model, as well as challenges and opportunities from a physical ecosystem, perspective. You are also responsible for developing plans and strategies to elevate the workplace experience and services through the network of Nike Supply Chain locations bringing best practices, innovation, standards and sustainability.
Your accountabilities and tasks will include, but not limited to:
- Support and influence the Nike Supply Chain network vision through operational excellence, location strategy, active portfolio management, thought leadership and bringing GPS’s capabilities in support of future Nike Supply Chain strategies.
- Develop strong connections with Nike Supply Chain leaders and establish GPS as a thought partner and critical enabler of the Supply Chain agenda
- Mobilize support across the GPS organization as necessary to build energy and traction against supply chain key priorities and initiatives.
- Management of in region facility management services and partners/vendors that support the GPS organization ensuring seamless integrated delivery of services.
- Steward the long-term road map of Supply Chain GPS investments to support the network of Supply Chain locations and operations.
- Monitor existing metrics, establish new metrics as necessary and proactively introduce innovation and feed knowledge from programs and initiatives into global insights.
