WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a Sr. Principal, Sales Business Planner, Global to lead portfolio management across sports and channels, driving alignment between long-range channel strategies, in geography marketplace realities and cross-sport expectations. This leader will partner closely with Finance and Strategy to shape multi-year plans that optimize marketplace capacity, profitability, and growth. The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a proven ability to influence senior stakeholders, connect insights across complex business landscapes, and translate data into actionable strategies that deliver enterprise impact.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
- Portfolio Leadership: Oversee global sales planning across partner channels, ensuring integrated strategies that balance consumer demand, profitability, and marketplace capacity.
- Long-Range Planning: Partner with Finance and Strategy to develop and evolve multi-year channel strategies and plans, aligning cross-sport expectations with Nike’s growth objectives.
- Enterprise Alignment: Drive connectivity between Global and Geo teams, ensuring consistent execution of strategic priorities across regions and business units. Lead our facilitation and coordination of Monthly Integrated Business Review Updates.
- Scenario Planning & Risk Management: Lead risk/opportunity assessments across sports and channels, leveraging insights to inform assortment intent and investment decisions.
- Performance Governance: Own global performance management insights across bookings, futures, rolling forecasts, and POS metrics, ensuring transparency and accountability across partner channels, sports and geographies.
- Strategic Storytelling: Deliver executive-level narratives that contextualize business performance, enabling faster decision-making and alignment across functions.
- Process Evolution: Shape and refine global planning processes (pre-season, in-season, post-season) to enhance agility and visibility.
- Cross-Functional Leadership: Facilitate forums and governance cadences that connect Planning, Finance, Merchandising, and Marketplace teams to drive enterprise priorities.
WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH
You will operate at the intersection of Global Sport Planning, Sales Planning, Sales Finance, Sales Strategy, and Geo Marketplace Leadership. This role requires influencing senior leaders and aligning diverse stakeholders toward shared goals.

- Cross-Functional Influence: Proven ability to lead across functions and geographies, fostering collaboration and accountability.
- Retail & Marketplace Acumen: Strong understanding of channel economics, gross-to-net metrics, and marketplace dynamics.
- Change Leadership: Comfortable navigating ambiguity, shaping new processes, and driving transformation at scale in a new function.
- Inclusive Leadership: Builds relationships across cultures and perspectives, creating an environment where diverse voices influence decisions.
- Retail Planning Experience: 6+ years of relevant experience in planning, merchandising, operations, or strategy roles
- Bachelor's degree in Business or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training
