WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
As our Senior Developer, they’ll partner closely with Product and Design teams to drive seasonal product from concept through commercialization. This role requires strong cross‑functional collaboration across Nike and Jordan teams, including GLAM, Sourcing & Costing, global manufacturing partners, and triad teams working across Nike offices and business units.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a creative and technically strong Sr. Developer to join the NA Local Creation, Jordan Apparel Creation Team. They will help bring iconic Jordan silhouettes to life through bold storytelling, graphics, print and color. The ideal candidate is a proactive problem solver and self-starter with strong project management skills. This role requires excellent communication and the capacity to collaborate across geographies to deliver sustainable, profitable, and highly coveted Jordan products.
- Bachelor's degree in Apparel Design, Product Development, Textiles, Graphic Design, Merchandising or a related field. Will accept and suitable combination of education, experience and training.
- 5 years' experience in Product Creation (Product Development, Merchandising, Operations, Production or R&D)
- Strong proficiency in Clo, Optitex and Adobe Illustrator is required
- Strong understanding of apparel construction, technical drawings, materials, costing and quality
- Strong development skills with the ability to translate design intent into 3D and 2D solutions
- Experience in graphics, embellishments and graphic execution within apparel development
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organization and multi-tasking skills; will manage multiple projects over multiple seasons
- Strong analytical, decision making and influencing skills; must be a self-starter
- Ability to travel up to 5% of the time (domestic and international)
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You will drive the creation of trend-right Jordan Apparel from concept through to production, translating design intent into manufacturable solutions. You lead protos, manage fit and patterns, oversee materials and graphics execution, and partner across Product, Design, GLAM, and global manufacturing to bring innovative concepts to life.
- You collaborate daily with Product, Design, and the Lead Jordan Apparel Developer, building strong relationships to align vision, solve problems, and keep product moving at speed.
- You partner with triad teams across multiple offices and time zones, managing shifting priorities and fast‑moving briefs to keep development on track.
- You lead proto reviews, obsess graphic execution, and work hands‑on with patterns and fit.
- You manage silhouette redevelopment, from PCX Tech Pack creation to pattern conversions and fit approvals, ensuring every detail meets Jordan standards.
- You own development timelines, documentation, and Data accuracy, making real‑time decisions that balance quality, cost, and speed‑to‑market.
- You oversee prototyping and testing, working closely with global manufacturing partners to resolve issues quickly and translate design intent into scalable solutions.
- You manage Material Print Creation end-to-end across multiple materials, gaining a holistic view of the manufacturing process and hands-on exposure to PCC responsibilities.
