WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

The EMEA Retail Design team brings Nike’s store strategy to life by shaping world‑class physical environments across the marketplace. They collaborate closely with Nike Direct, DSM, Merchandising, Visual Merchandising, Brand Communications, and external partners to translate global direction into elevated retail experiences that serve athletes* across the region.


 

WHO WE’RE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a senior spatial designer with strong architectural and retail design expertise who can independently drive store layout planning across EMEA. This person combines technical skill with creative vision, bringing deep understanding of consumer behavior, retail operations, and product journeys. They thrive in complex, cross‑functional environments and can translate strategy into thoughtful, efficient, and inspiring retail layouts. They are a clear communicator, a collaborative partner, and a designer who obsesses over detail. With a strong command of zonings, layouts, and product storytelling, they help shape the future of Nike’s retail footprint by delivering work that raises the bar for quality and execution.

You’ll bring:

  • 4–5 years of experience in layout planning role, ideally within Nike
  • Degree in Interior Design or Interior Architecture
  • Proven experience delivering fixture layouts across multiple stores and multiple concepts
  • Experience working across rollouts, special projects, and low‑touch formats
  • Strong experience in low‑touch delivery models, including coordination, review, and validation of work developed by external agencies
  • Solid understanding of retail consumer behavior and spatial planning principles
  • Expertise in spatial and architectural design, with a focus on retail consumer behavior
  • Strong knowledge of visual merchandising and product display principles
  • Ability to adapt global direction to EMEA marketplace needs
  • Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and SketchUp
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills across diverse teams


 

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You will independently deliver store zoning layouts and consumer journeys that bring Nike’s retail vision to life across EMEA. You will lead key workstreams, integrate cross‑functional input, and drive design solutions that elevate product, athlete, and service experiences across all store formats.

In this role, you will:

  • Deliver zoning layouts that reflect Nike’s retail strategy and support business objectives
  • Design product, athlete, and consumer journeys that elevate service and product experiences across formats
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align global strategy with local execution
  • Lead and support design workstreams within larger projects, ensuring quality and timely delivery
  • Apply EMEA retail design direction to ensure consistency across the marketplace
  • Align business requirements with product capacity to help stores achieve revenue targets
  • Contribute to creative reviews, sharing work openly and applying feedback to strengthen outcomes
