The NIKE, Inc. Communications team develops, establishes, and strengthens authentic connections with diverse audiences through the lens of innovation and sport. The team creates premium brand stories, builds corporate reputation and brand equity, and engages audiences including employees, media, athletes, and partners.

WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
This role is part of the Nike Communications team in Paris, reporting to the Director of Communications, France. The position works closely with EMEA and Global Communications, Brand Marketing, Sports Marketing, HR, Events, and a broad range of internal partners to support Employee Engagement and Football communication priorities.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We’re seeking a dynamic and experienced communications professional to join our Paris Communications and Media Relations team as a Senior Professional, with a dual focus on Employee Engagement and external Football communications.
The ideal candidate brings strategic rigor, creative instinct, and executional excellence—able to design high‑impact engagement experiences for employees while also driving best‑in‑class Football storytelling that resonates in sport and culture.
A genuine passion for football and sport is essential. While direct professional experience in football communications is not required, a deep personal connection to the game, its culture, and its communities is key to building credibility and creating meaningful work with Nike’s teams, athletes, partners, and audiences.
We’re looking for someone who can generate fresh ideas, experiment with new formats and platforms, and craft inspiring moments rooted in sport, product innovation, brand storytelling, and Nike’s mission.

Requirements:

  • Strong experience in communications, ideally within sport, brand, or performance‑driven environments.
  • Proven ability to develop communication strategies that foster engagement, alignment, and cultural cohesion.
  • Solid understanding of football culture in France and its impact on sport, media, and society.
  • Demonstrated ability to build and deliver narrative‑led storytelling and engagement plans.
  • Ability to apply new storytelling approaches and emerging platforms to deepen connections around sport and football.
  • Creative problem‑solver with the ability to develop scalable and impactful communication solutions.
  • Experience contributing to ideation processes and driving innovative strategies, concepts, and partnerships.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence across a complex, matrixed organization.
  • Strong writing and storytelling capabilities across internal channels and multiple content formats (written, visual, digital).
  • Ability to shape internal voice and turn complex strategies into simple, human, and memorable employee communications.
  • Experience managing relationships with media, athletes, partners, executives, and internal stakeholders.
  • Strong project‑management skills, including planning, execution, budgeting, and partner or agency oversight.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You will build and execute communications strategies that strengthen engagement, alignment, and shared purpose across teams in France, while elevating Nike’s leadership in Football communications. This includes driving Football narratives, Employee Engagement initiatives, media relations, and key Football moments in France. You will also manage and evolve internal channels to deliver timely, inspiring stories for employees and support the EMEA editorial engine.
