Our Nike Stores are the best physical expression for our consumers to experience everything our brand has to offer. As a critical enabler for Pacific, our Nike Value Stores (NVS) play an integral role in showcasing fresh product for our consumer and brand passion for sport, community and service.
Reporting to the Senior Director Nike Direct Stores, this multi-store management role will lead and inspire our store leaders (Head Coaches) and their teams to deliver best in class consumer experiences and drive sales growth for the Pacific region. This role sees you working cross-functionally with Nike internal teams in Marketplace Supply Chain (MSC), Merchandise and Planning (DSM), Nike Athlete Experience, Retail Operations, Visual Merchandising and Consumer Direct Marketing (CDM) to support and facilitate the smooth execution of our brand initiatives.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for an accomplished commercial, people-first and driven leader with a strong understanding of multi-site retail management across sales, operations, visual merchandising and training.
The successful candidate will be proven in their ability to inspire and influence leaders of large teams to execute within a retail environment elevating our consumer experience, enhancing team engagement and succession whilst delivering on sales. We are looking for someone with demonstrable commercial acumen, always on the lookout for productivity gains and, playing the role of coach just comes naturally to them.
- Have 5+ years of progressive multi-site retail management experience.
- Proven leadership capability to drive engagement and develop high performing teams.
- Demonstrable financial and commercial acumen through workforce planning and the ability to make data-driven decisions.
- Show the ability to engage, influence and communicate cross-functional stakeholders.
- Relevant Tertiary degree will be viewed favourably.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite i.e. Excel, PowerPoint.
- Have a shared passion for sport, community and the consumer.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
In this role you will manage a portfolio of Nike-owned stores, ensuring that stores are operated in line with Nike’s retail and service standards. In partnership with key internal teams, you will drive strategies, programs and consumer experiences to ensure elevated execution and consumer experiences whilst building high-performing teams. Interstate and international travel may be a requirement of the role
- Be responsible for ensuring the consistent execution of the Nike Stores strategy across our Nike Value Stores fleet.
- Build action plans, in partnership with store leaders and cross-functional teams to maximise profitability, productivity and business growth.
- Lead and inspire all store leaders to establish a selling and service culture to deliver an elevated Nike experience to our consumers.
- Grow and develop teams to foster and encourage career growth at Nike and strengthen our bench strength.
- Be hands on, in-store coaching our teams to win.
- Prioritise listening to the voices of our store athletes and our consumer, identifying trends/gaps and drive process improvement or change.
- Review and evaluate store effectiveness through workforce planning activities and obsessing the consumer experience (Checkouts, fitting rooms, returns, and in-store programs and experiences).
- Lead the roll out of Nike store retail and operational best practices and programs.
