WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a Software Engineer with 5–6 years of experience to join our Financial Planning & Performance Management Engineering Team. You will be part of a globally distributed, agile EPM Data & Integration squad, collaborating with Finance partners, Technology teams, and Anaplan development squads to deliver scalable, secure, and reliable financial planning solutions. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with a solid understanding of finance concepts, excellent communication skills, and the ability to navigate ambiguity while driving impactful outcomes at scale.
Key Skills & Experience
Anaplan expertise: Level 3 Model Building, Datahub design, ALM best practices, API/Cloud works proficiency, and lifecycle management.
EPM tools: Hands-on experience with Anaplan, IBM Planning Analytics/TM1, Oracle EPB, or similar multi-dimensional solutions.
Data modelling & integrations: 3+ years building robust models, delivering cloud-based integrations with AWS, Azure, Databricks, and maintaining strong data hygiene.
CI/CD & automation: Experience with GitHub or similar repos, pipelines, Airflow, and process automation.
Programming proficiency: Strong Python skills, reporting, and dashboarding capabilities.
Security practices: Privilege management, authentication, encryption, and SaaS/cloud security integration.
Finance knowledge: Solid understanding of FP&A and the Income Statement.
Analytical & communication: Strong problem-solving, documentation, and ability to distill technical outcomes for global stakeholders.
Preferred: Certified Anaplan Solution Architect, knowledge of AI with RAG/LLM models, Databricks Genie.
Working hour flexibility: To collaborate effectively across global teams.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
As a Software Engineer in the EPM Data & Integration squad, your primary responsibility will be to gather requirements, communicate technical outcomes, and build and optimize Anaplan workspaces, security frameworks, data infrastructure, and integrations that drive long-term strategic impact for Financial Planning stakeholders. You will play a hands-on role in ensuring sustainable solutions, detailed documentation, and technical support that meets service-level expectations, while advising on process improvements to deliver the highest quality outcomes aligned with Nike’s strategic objectives and future architectural standards.
Key Responsibilities & Skills
Anaplan Datahub & Security Hub: Develop and optimize models, collaborating with other squads to deliver downstream data.
Data modelling & integrations: Manage reconciliation and integrations using AWS, Python, Apache Airflow, Databricks, and reporting tools like Power BI/Tableau.
Anaplan APIs & Cloud works: Strong knowledge of import/export processes to efficiently move, stage, and share consistent, accurate data; ADO knowledge preferred.
Application lifecycle management: Utilize Code Repo tools and CI/CD pipelines to accelerate delivery while reducing risks.
Hands-on solution delivery: Ensure detailed documentation, technical support, and problem resolution within squad scope.
Quality assurance: Inspect technical outcomes to meet high standards of reliability and sustainability.
