We are looking for Software Engineer to join our team at Nike Global Technology Hub in Gdansk, Poland. WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
• Solid engineering skills with proficiency in Python
• Nice to have Java/ Golang/ SQL
• Experience in building software systems
• Understanding of cloud-native software development and data engineering
• Hands-on experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, or Delta Lake
• Hands-on experience with AI agent frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, MCP, ADK)
• Hands-on experience with infrastructure as code (Terraform, CloudFormation)
• Experience with clouds (AWS - preferred, Azure)
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You will join the Innovation Team within Infrastructure Engineering, a new group focused on building AI-driven, real-time performance and cost management system that supercharges APM by automating root-cause analysis, resolving inefficiencies and preempt infrastructure issues, inefficiencies to drive operational excellence.
Your work will include:
• Leveraging AI and machine learning to build intelligent recommendation engines
and agentic automation capabilities
• Designing and building data pipelines that process cloud telemetry and cost data
• Developing analytics tools that surface optimization opportunities
• Creating dashboards and APIs that enable self-service insights for stakeholders
• Contributing to platform infrastructure that supports scalable, reliable tooling
• Collaborating with a small, high-autonomy team where your ideas shape technical
direction
This is greenfield development – you'll build systems from the ground up with meaningful impact on Nike's bottom line.
