WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
The Senior Specialist partners with a dynamic Marketing team including Brand Management, Energy Marketing, Brand Creative, Integrated Media, Integrated Retail Marketing, and Digital Marketing. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Brand Planning & Operations, the role collaborates across functions and Asia Pacific Latin America (APLA) to deliver operational excellence.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Nike seeks a highly organized and results-driven professional to join the Marketing team in Tokyo. This individual combines strong communication and problem-solving skills with expertise in project and budget management. A passion for sport, curiosity about consumers, and commitment to Nike’s brand standards are essential.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in Marketing or Business Operations with a strong background in cross-functional project management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a closely related field.
- Expertise in project/portfolio management, resource planning, and budget oversight.
- Ability to build and maintain operational systems, tools, and processes.
- Experience supporting seasonal marketing workflows, go-to-market planning, and consumer-led brand strategy.
- Proficiency with planning and collaboration tools preferred (e.g., Keynote, Box, Airtable, Excel).
- Strong oral and written communication skills in both English and Japanese.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You will lead program planning and delivery, maintain enablement toolkits, and support budget management processes to keep marketing operations running smoothly.
- Manage pre-season planning, including product booking reconciliation for key projects and seasonal toolkits.
- Drive in-season milestones such as marketing hand-offs, integrated reviews, seasonal debriefs, and quarterly recaps.
- Facilitate leadership forums by sharing project health, risks, and milestones.
- Maintain the Japan Marketing Homebase Airtable as the central hub for tracking launches and completions.
- Develop playbooks, templates, and training materials to guide teams through marketing processes.
- Review toolkits regularly for accuracy and alignment with cross-functional procedures.
- Support budget planning by creating internal orders and leading monthly forecasting and reconciliation.
