The Jordan Design Studio is a dynamic space where you sit at the center of the Jordan Brand creative team. This team enables the success of the Jordan Design Chief Design Officer, their senior leadership team, and the entire studio of product Designers. The Jordan Design Studio is focused on ensuring that our leaders and creatives have what they need to thrive and create world class product.  Through the lens of clarity in strategic vision, and priority as well as through the lens of resourcing, community and culture, education and inspiration.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will work closely with the full Jordan Design Studio Team, as well as partnering with a cross-functional business partner team inclusive of Jordan Finance, Jordan HR, Jordan Business Integration, and our Jordan Legal partners as well. These engagements and relationships will be critical for you to enable studio process and tools excellence for both internal and external stakeholders.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking to fill this role with exceptional, forward thinking, operations minded talent who is motivated to solve problems that will result in providing clarity and optimizing bandwidth across the studio and its leadership team. This person is not afraid to ask questions, and they are able to demonstrate their understanding of how to on-board a diverse stakeholder group onto new processes and tools sets. It is important that this candidate has a strong understanding of project tracking, process creation, strong communication skills and proficiency in tools that enable success in these areas. The ideal candidate is adaptable, incredibly detail oriented, and has a capacity to navigate ambiguity.

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.
  • 5 + years of professional work experience in operations, project management, strategy, design, or relevant industry.
  • Knowledge of product creation processes + design thinking (strongly preferred).
  • Experience working with creative teams in a studio/agency environment (strongly preferred).
  • Strong communication + presentation skills; able to influence across multiple functions and levels.
  • Passion for process excellence + simplification; unlocking innovation, collaboration, and improved ways of working.
  • Excellent problem solving and analytical thinking skills.
  • Self-directed and comfortable working in ambiguous environments.
  • Ability to handle multiple work streams and balance competing priorities under seasonal timelines.
  • Strong interpersonal, consensus-building skills, with ability to advocate and achieve results.
  • Proficient in Keynote, Powerpoint, Miro, and experience with project management software such as Smartsheets, Airtable or Asana (strongly preferred).

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

You will be responsible for building out processes and tools for the Jordan Design Studio that track our studio operational metrics such as budget actuals, organizational health numbers tied to resourcing, and external vendor management. You will also build our tools and process for project management tracking to support our central Design Concepts team in tracking their special projects work from ideation to delivery. You will act in each of your areas of focus as an extension of the Design Studio Director.
