WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

NIKE, Inc. is looking for a Senior Supply Chain Business Analyst to join the North America Market Place Supply Chain team.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking a motivated, self-starter with a proven ability to use data analysis to solve complex business challenges. This individual thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, is eager to learn new technologies, and can effortlessly transition between strategic long-term projects and ad-hoc tasks. Success in this role requires a strong analysis foundation, a collaborative mindset, and the ability to work effectively within a team-oriented environment. The candidate will work cross-functionally with peers and senior leaders to accomplish business goals, utilizing advanced technical skills for querying enterprise data, developing complex data workflows, and visualizing business insights. The role requires a continuous improvement mindset and the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively. Additional required skills include:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, statistics or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience and training.

  • 3+ years querying and analyzing data in enterprise data environments such as Databricks, Snowflake, Teradata and/or SQL Server.

  • Strong understanding of working with relational databases in SQL , coding language Python and advanced Excel

  • Advanced experience developing and augmenting data workflows utilizing Databricks.

  • Beginner to intermediate experience developing interactive visualizations in Tableau.

  • 3+ years of experience in Supply Chain and/or relevant industries with an emphasis on root-cause analysis.

  • Strong understanding of and experience in forecasting, trend analysis, scenario planning and agile methodologies.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Skilled in analyzing large datasets and presenting cohesive stories using PowerPoint and Tableau.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong business acumen and ability to translate business needs to technical requirements.

  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and ambiguous environment.

  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

  • Support general operations and health of the business by providing actionable insights to deliver business results.

  • Analyze and influence business decisions through tradeoffs with x-functional partners to run the business profitably

  • Lead analysis that informs business strategy including root cause analysis.

  • Drive change in the organization by making analytics part of day-to-day business strategy to ensure better quality decisions while keeping the marketplace clean.

  • Support a sustainable performance management cycle to drive decision making to maximize revenue and margin.

  • Lead strategic initiatives to enhance supply chain performance metrics.

  • Conduct ad-hoc analyses with quick turnaround for immediate business actions.

  • Develop data-driven tools for current processes and recommend business and process improvements.

  • Resolve ambiguous business questions through analytical approaches.

  • Articulate and story tell solutions through varied channels of reporting.

  • Create dashboards by integrating data from various enterprise sources.

  • Cultivate and sustain relationships with stakeholders across the organization.

  • Work with senior/lead business analysts to develop, leverage, and streamline reporting and analytics best practices

  • Mentor and guide Business Analysts and foster a culture of learning and collaboration within the team.
