WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
The Senior Talent Management Specialist will report to the Sr. Manager, Talent Management and work closely with TM Leaders and adjacent HR teams to support the work of Talent Management Business Leads.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Nike is seeking a Senior Talent Management Specialist who brings strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to translate talent data into clear, executive‑ready materials. They are comfortable working with sensitive and highly confidential information and are known for producing accurate, well‑structured outputs under tight timelines.
This individual thrives in a support‑oriented role that requires judgment, prioritization, and independence. They partner closely with senior Talent Management leaders to prepare for talent forums, streamline tools and processes, and ensure that insights and actions are clearly documented and followed through. They are proactive, organized, and able to navigate ambiguity while maintaining a high quality bar in their work.
Key Qualifications
- 4+ years of relevant experience; prior experience in Talent Management, HR, People Analytics, or a related function strongly preferred
- Experience working with HR systems such as Workday; ability to source and analyze data from multiple systems
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.
- Demonstrated experience handling sensitive and highly confidential information
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; experience with data visualization a plus
- Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tell fact‑based stories using data
- Proven ability to partner effectively in a cross‑functional, matrixed organization
- Strong organization skills, information‑seeking mindset, and a bias for action
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
You will enable high‑quality talent discussions by preparing executive‑ready materials, providing data and insights, and supporting the logistics and follow‑through of key talent forums. You’ll also help improve how talent information is gathered, organized, and communicated.
- Create executive‑ready materials to support talent discussions and decision‑making for the business areas you support
- Partner closely with the Sr. Director, Talent Management to provide data‑supported insights and respond to ad hoc requests
- Analyze and synthesize data from Workday and other HR systems, incorporating findings into Excel analyses and PowerPoint presentations
- Help streamline processes and standardize tools and templates used across talent management work
- Support the creation of communications and guidance for HRBPs in preparation for OTPR and other talent forums
- Track follow‑up actions from talent discussions and serve as a project manager for talent assessment, development, and engagement efforts
- Explore and test new technology solutions that improve how talent information is gathered or displayed
