WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
In this role, you will report directly to the Manager of Visual Merchandising (VM) for Korea. Your responsibilities will include leading the Nike Direct visual merchandising strategy and creating engaging visual merchandising experiences. You will collaborate closely with the Retail Brand team and visual merchandising team members in the Geo, stores, partners, and third-party agencies. Additionally, you will work alongside cross-functional teams in Korea, including Retail Marketing, Brand Management, Nike Direct Stores, Merchandising, and Store Construction.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a Visual Merchandising Senior to join our Intergrated Retail Marketing team in Korea. You should be able to demonstrate proven VM expertise, think strategically, and be a strong collaborator that can work seamlessly. This requires you to be an effective communicator and creative thought-partner who possesses the ability to influence decision-making. And you love working in a fast-paced, ever-evolving, positive, and collaborative team environment. In addition, we are also looking for someone with:
- Over 7 years of experience in Visual Merchandising at a brand office.
- Strong hands-on project management and seasonal execution experience are essential including collaboration with agencies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Retail Marketing, Visual Merchandising, or a related design field.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills in both English and Korean.
- Proficient in software applications, including Microsoft Office.
- Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
As part of the Intergrated Retail Marketing team, you will be responsible for developing seasonal Visual Merchandising strategy directions for In-line stores, which occurs 8-10 times a year. Additionally, you will create a strategic planogram and oversee seasonal execution, store opening process. Your role will involve leading the development of both seasonal and non-seasonal visual merchandising plans based on the VM directives. You will also provide guidance to ensure the successful implementation of these plans across Korea. Additionally, you will also be responsible for:
- Leading the planning and execution of seasonal and year-round visual merchandising based on the Global / Geo Visual Merchandising directive.
- Overseeing store opening projects from initial planning through to execution.
- Deep partnership with Retail Brand team in the development of seasonal plans
- Creating seasonal and year-round visual merchandising and styling toolkits and provide training.
- Reporting on visual merchandising projects to the World Headquarters (WHQ)
- Managing visual merchandising related materials and operation works, such as mannequins and props, including the purchase order process.
