WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

The Senior Workforce Planning Specialist is an experienced professional who brings strong expertise in retail store operations and labor modeling. This role joins the Store Operations team at EHQ and plays a critical part in shaping how labor is planned, optimized, and deployed across the store network.

The role requires someone who can think strategically while operating with precision. They bring strong analytical rigor, influence with cross‑functional partners, and the ability to translate complex workforce dynamics into clear, actionable insights that support both business performance and the store athlete experience.

WHAT WILL YOU WORK ON?

As a Senior Workforce Planning Specialist, you will lead the ideation, design, and implementation of an advanced labor model within the Strategic Workforce Planning solution. You will set the foundation for a scalable, reliable system that enables on‑demand labor projections across the store fleet.

Once the model is established, you will work closely with Labor Optimization Analysts to unlock productivity opportunities and generate staffing insights that support informed decision‑making at every level.

You will collaborate with the Workforce Specialist and lead to ensure a robust and disciplined intake process for activities is embedded seamlessly into system configuration. Your work will result in a comprehensive, stable, and user‑friendly solution that supports long‑term operational excellence.

WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH?

The Senior Workforce Planning Specialist is part of a collaborative, cross‑functional network that includes Labor Optimization Analysts, Workforce Management and Labor Analysts. The role partners closely with stakeholders across the Global Labor Team, Field Operations, Vendors, Product teams, Compliance, and HR to ensure alignment, adoption, and impact.

WHAT DO YOU BRING TO THE TEAM?

Bachelor’s Degree in Communications, Project Management, Business, or a related field; Proven experience in Store Operations.

Deep understanding of the retail store ecosystem, including store roles, responsibilities, and operational workflows.

Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross‑functional partners and senior leaders through complex analysis, discussion, and decision‑making.

Strong project and time management skills, with a consistent track record of delivering results in fast‑paced environments.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate insights and recommendations.

Advanced analytical capabilities, including the development of KPIs and identification of trends that drive continuous improvement.

High proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and Visio.

Extensive experience with Activity‑Based Labor and Workforce Management solutions is strongly preferred.
