Sr. Software Engineer
WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH
Our team supports Converse by implementing technology solutions for the consumer.
You will report to the Technical Product Manager. In this role you will work closely with a variety of business teams across Geos to identify Business opportunities, review regularly design, needs and issue tracking. You will also work with other Converse technology product squads and partnering closely with the global Nike/Converse product teams.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
You are a Sr. Software Engineer. You've held several roles and have a good understanding of your technical and career direction. You've learned how to learn and know when to ask questions versus figure things out on your own, and can nurture this skill in others. You know multiple tech stacks very well and are continually assessing emerging technology, tools, and patterns. You are comfortable completing moderately complex projects by breaking them down and delegating within the team. You have demonstrated having a strategic technical vision for your products out to about a 1-quarter time horizon with effective continuous delivery of value.
As a member on this team we expect you to:
Preferred Skills and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other relevant subject area related to Information Technology
- 5+ years of work experience
- 3+ years of project management
- Background of E-commerce or Internet company
- Project management skills
- Vendor management
- Teamwork and communication skills
- Technical experience in developing WeChat Mini Programs and Tmall -related project.
- Proven experience in performance optimization and efficiency improvement within the development process.
- Familiar with background system like OMS, WMS.
- Good at business data analysis
- Project Management Tools: Proficient in using Microsoft Project, Jira
- Fluent in speaking and written English.
- Global and local business team communication.
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
In this role, you will
- Manage the project within the planned time and with a controlled budget and meet the target.
- Propose technical solution to meet business requirements and keep communicating with project teammates.
- Manage project document such as business requirement document, technical development document through the whole process.
- Manage Tech solution delivery, including but not limited to Order Capture, Store Board, Shipment Management Tool, Just Enough and Wholesale/Digital related system.
- Be motivated to meet the new challenges.
