This role is part of the Foundational Platform Engineering (FPE) and work with Autosys part of Data Integration team.
WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are looking for a Software Engineer II, AutosysWeb, FPE who excels in team environments and are excited about building cloud native platforms that can scale with the demand of our business. This role is part of AutosysWeb, FPE aggressively innovates solutions to drive growth while creating and implementing tools that help make everything else in the company possible. The candidate needs to have a strong understanding of technical concepts, excellent attention to detail, data accuracy, and data analysis, strong verbal and written communication skills, and be self-motivated and operates with a high sense of urgency and a high level of integrity.
Key Skills & Traits:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field
3-5 relevant of recent hands-on experience building C# .NET Web APIs and microservices
3+ years of recent hands-on experience in user interface design and development with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React 16+ with hooks
3+ years of experience with AWS Networking Infrastructure such as Route53, Load Balancers, Target Groups, etc.
2+ years of experience working with relational databases like PostgreSQL
2+ years of experience with AWS serverless applications like Lambda functions and hosting containers in ECS
2+ years of experience deploying applications on Docker containers
2+ years of experience developing CI/CD pipelines executed on Jenkins
2+ years of experience with cloud infrastructure and microservice deployments using Terraform and AWS CloudFormation
Experience working with NoSQL data stores preferably AWS DynamoDB
Experience deploying and managing AWS EC2 instances
Experience integrating microservices with other enterprise tools such as Service Now, Active Directory, Big Panda, etc.
Experience with job scheduling software like Autosys or Apache Airflow is a plus
Experience developing Python 3 and Golang applications is a plus
Experience in shell scripting
Experience working on Agile methodologies like Scrum
Experience in working on an on-call PagerDuty model for application support
Experience using Jira, Slack, Outlook, Confluence, and GitHub
Self-starter, comfortable working in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment working on and as a team
Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively communicate with both business and technical teams.
Curious, passionate and committed in bringing innovative solutions and process improvement solutions to increase productivity and successful delivery of the team
WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON
As a Software Engineer II, you’ll be working with the Nike Workload Automation team in India and performing design, development, testing, deployment and prod support activities along with coaching others in the team on best practices to use and clarify technical/domain related questions.
The technology stack shall be a mixture of React UI and C# .NET 6 Web API microservices. Deployment will be in AWS cloud as serverless services.
