WHO WILL YOU WORK WITH
As a key member of our engineering team, you will optimally operate within our dynamic, cloud-based environment, contributing to its evolution, reviewing and providing feedback on peers' technical designs, code, and tests, and thriving in a collaborative, agile setting that encourages experimentation, innovation, initiative, and mentorship. You will also leverage data analysis and machine learning techniques to inform consumer insights, practice DevOps principles for seamless testing, automation, and monitoring, and partner with cross-functional teams to scale and loosely couple our service-oriented architecture (SOA) ecosystem.
WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR
As a Software Engineer II in the Retail Commerce Team, you will lay the groundwork for highly scalable solutions for Nike B&M stores. In this role, you will be implementing solutions and automated processes that allow for the rapid delivery of software. You will be part of an agile team responsible for delivering solutions that help own the global business processes within the four walls of the stores in over 35 countries. Some of the solutions that the team works on include Point of Sale and other key initiatives. This is a team that's always on the offense, working on innovative solutions and creating opportunities and solutions for the business!
You'll have below expertise
4+ years of experience with Java, Spring, NodeJS
2+ years of experience with cloud experience; preferably on AWS platform along with Microservices and Point of Sale experience
Web API, Mock Framework, Dependency Injection, Agile Methodologies, GitHub, Jenkins experience preferred
Continuous integration and deployment practices
Experience with agile development practice preferred
Experience with Node 14+, Jest Unit Testing
A track record of solving problems and getting things done in a fast paced, evolving environment
Leadership capability, including the ability to empower and mentor others
Thinking and planning strategically, with the ability to communicate the strategy to a large organization
Delivering sophisticated, cross-functional IT projects and/or programs
Pulling a diverse group of individuals with different goals together and facilitate productive discussions
