WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH

You will be a part of the larger Global Technology organization working on Nike’s internal product creation tools and report to the team’s Engineering Leadership.  You will work day-to-day with a team of engineers, the team’s Product Manager and Principal Engineers in the organization on software projects to achieve Nike’s business objectives.  You will also engage with other Global Technology functions and teams on organizational and technical goals.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We’re looking for a Full Stack Software Engineer to solve complex software engineering problems supporting Nike’s pursuit of delivering state of the art tools to our Consumer Product & Innovation community. The candidate needs to be highly collaborative with peers, productive in a fast-paced development environment and have depth of native cloud software engineering experience.

WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON

You will be part of a team of engineers building out full-stack web apps for our internal product creation userbase. We are investing in building modular, configurable and “API-First” capabilities and integrating them with modern web applications built with the most recent SPA frameworks.

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering, Information Systems, or similar field or relevant professional experience in lieu of a degree.

  • 2+ years of hands-on industry experience in designing and developing RESTful APIs and building microservices-based architectures.

  • Proficiency in Node.js and React.js (Hooks, Redux); TypeScript experience is a plus.

  • Hands-on experience with AWS services (Lambda, ECS, DynamoDB, S3) and Infrastructure as Code.

  • Strong knowledge of modern HTML/CSS, responsive design, and SPA best practices.

  • Familiarity with authentication standards (JWT, OAuth).

  • Proficient in Git and CI/CD pipelines.

  • Experience with Jest, Mocha or similar for unit and integration testing.

  • Understanding of performance optimization techniques (lazy loading, code splitting, caching strategies).

  • Solid understanding of design patterns and scalable architecture principles.

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills experience with utilizing Gen AI tools and familiarity with AI industry trends is a plus.
