WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR
As a Workday Testing and Integrations Senior Software Integration Engineer II, you will work with the team of engineers working on Testing and integrations within Workday, and other HR ecosystem applications (UKG Pro) that are essential to Nike’s strategy and growth. You will be responsible for driving testing deliverables (such as Test Strategy, Test Plans, and Test Metrics) while ensuring business engagement and satisfaction. They are also responsible for developing solutions, test, and deploy integrations required to meet business requirements using workday integrations.
WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON
Provide solutions, develop, test, and deploy integrations required to meet business requirements.
Guide project team on development of test plans and impart best practices on Testing along with tracking and reporting on testing progress.
Drive collaboration between business, functional teams and other stakeholders to maximize timely delivery of solutions.
Collaborating with product team members at Nike World Head Quarter and India Tech centre to design, develop, and deploy across various project phases.
Track issues and risks, communicate status, and escalate concerns appropriately.
Hands on integration development across various stages of development.
Maintain discretion and confidentiality in all areas of HR data and information, whether internal to Nike or customer specific.
Detailed Responsibilities:
Quality Engineering, Testing & Test Management
Own, plan, and execute end-to-end testing including functional, regression, smoke, integration, performance, and UAT support.
Create and manage test plans, test strategy, test effort estimation, and test schedule.
Lead comprehensive test management including:
Reviewing and maintaining test case
Tracking test execution
Managing the defect lifecycle
Publishing test metrics, dashboards, and sign-off reports
Develop, maintain, and optimize test automation frameworks (UI/API) and reusable test scripts.
Conduct deep-dive root cause analysis and work with developers to resolve defects quickly.
Implement shift-left testing practices and continuously improve testing processes.
Ensure strong requirements-to-test traceability and maintain all QA documentation.
Workday Integrations & Platform Support
Validate and test Workday integrations such as EIB, Core Connectors, PECI, Studio, and outbound reports.
Support Workday release testing across preview, regression, and production deployments.
Collaborate with engineering and HR operations to troubleshoot issues in Workday inbound/outbound workflows.
Participate in L3/L4 escalations, performing analysis and recommending fixes.
Engineering Collaboration
Work closely with developers, product owners, analysts, and cross-functional HR stakeholders.
Contribute to improving CI/CD testing pipelines, automation coverage, and engineering best practices.
Participate in code reviews for automation and support continuous improvement initiatives.

WHAT YOU BRING
Around 4 years of hands-on experience in software testing, test management, testing coordination oand QA engineering with skills in:
Test planning and test strategy
Functional, regression, and API testing
Test automation
A bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, a related field, or equivalent experience
2+ years progressive and relevant workday experience in Workday Integrations, EIB, Workday Studio, Core Connectors, and Reporting.
Very strong written and oral communication skills, presentation and coordination skills is mandatory.
Experince in Test automation in preferred.
Experience working with cross functional teams across products.
Experience leading project teams in preparation, planning, and execution of Testing involving ERP systems prior to an implementation.
A strong understanding of the principles of testing along with In-depth knowledge of formal testing methodologies.
Detail oriented with superior analytical, problem solving, pragmatism and organization skills
Ability to pick up new technologies and common applications
